She looked into the mirror, straightening the small bumps and creases on her dress. She looked round her dorm, looking to maybe carry a small purse but yet held back from it. She fixed her hair one more time and then stepped out of the dorm and through the portrait. No, she didn't have a date to the dance.. But, she really didn't care. Or so she thought. She avoided all of the happy couples and made her way to the great hall.

Dumbledore waited for all the students to arrive before the sorting. I waited, cut off from everyone else by my twitch and mismatched eyes.
