"Vreng"
Vreng saw several dogs pass under him but the one that caught his attention most had to be the little black, curly tailed dog. The thing looked blind. Easy enough target right? But then, Vreng started to wonder if easy was much fun. Sure, he'd be able to fill his belly, and feel the crunch of bones and possibly hear the squelch the blood sometimes made. But, honestly? How was pouncing and snapping a neck fun? Vreng enjoyed the low, painful howls and the feeling of knowing he was better then those pathetic excuses for dogs.
Slowly, the demon followed Steady by hopping from branch to branch, always looking down to make sure the dog was near his paws. That was when this small, blind dog ran into a much older dog. Vreng was slightly confused and to show this, he tilted his head, allowing his one floppy ear to cover one eye. The acid dripped from his jaws as he watched the encounter with intense interest. When, oh when, would Vreng be able to make his entrance without letting to many escape?
"Mischief"
Little Mischief padded through the trees, humming quietly to herself with her tail wagging from side to side and her tongue hanging from her lips. These trees didn't seem to bother Mischief, nor did the constant wailing and screams of the demons around her. "Oh, drats, where did that silly little rodent go?"
A small, rasping howl caught her attention as she heard other dogs, "Oh. Others? Must be safe enough then. Although, these voices won't seem to stop screaming.." She looked up at the branches above her head as she frowned and saw the glow of eyes set upon her, "Oh. My mind is playing tricks again? Or is it?" Mischief just shook her head and continued on her way.
Suddenly, Mischief stumbled into a German Shepherd that looked rather depressed. Wagging her tail again, Mischief let out a small yap and bounded over, "Hello? Mister? Have you perhaps, seen a mouse?" Mischief tilted her head with a grin for just a moment before she shook her head, "Oh no, no, no. Not a mouse. Well, yes a mouse, but he isn't just any mouse! You see, he's a mouse with a brick." Mischief nodded and looked back at Khaz, "Oh, and he lives in the sky?" Looking at a nearby tree, Mischief blinked a few times, "So maybe he has wings.. Or perhaps he's just magic." Her attention turned to Khaz again, "Anyway, he's a very skilled little mouse."
((Sorry that Mischief's stumbling onto Khaz wasn't very.. Detailed. ;>.>))
