Jasper raised his head as he heard a unfamilar neigh. He quickly looked up the hill and saw a girl go towards his horse. He wistled loudly calling tennesse and hoping to scare her away from his beloved horse.

Hearing his two legged's call, Tennessee turned his head over to Jasper and neighed, beginning to canter down the rocky slope to his owner. He stopped right in front of the edge of the water, licking at the water to cool himself off.

Faith followed Tennessee, and Lake followed her.

Jasper swam over to his horse and climbed up beside him"hey boy did she hurt you?" He said running his wet hands over tennesses body searching for wounds of any kind.his eyes narrowed as he saw the girl and the stallion

"Why would I hurt him? Faith said walking right up and standing next to him.

Lake stood next to Faith and looked at Jasper.

Jasper leaned against tennesses shoulder"because i dont know you" he said

"My name's Faith" She said gently petting Lake. "And this is my boy Lake" She said.

Lake shifted his weight and turned, his brand catching the light, though it was clearely old.
