Ravenflame was very unenthusiastic about this patrol now that Smoky left.. His wounds ached from the little skirmish with the rogues. It will take forever to find the badger at this pace... he thought and quickly climbed up a tree to try and get a better veiw. "Dapplefur" He called

Smoky continued on towards where she lived, as she walked she realized how far she had ventured out, trying to remember why she had done it.

Mintclaw decided to check the borders while blossompetal went hunting.

Smoky had continued on until she came across the same badger that had chased her up into the tree, she turned and dashed back towards where the other cats were. "I found the badger..." she mewed quietly to them, already knowing that they were looking for it.

Ravenflame turned around up in the tree. He looked down and was surprised to see smoky.. He leaped down and looked at her "What a coincidence, so did I" He smirked like he did when they first met. He turned to Dapplefur "Want her to lead us there, or shall I?" He knew what the answer was. Obviously smoky, she would rather trust a loner than her clanmate he thought

Smoky smiled as Ravenflame appreared in front of her, having leapt down from the tree, staying silent and looking at the other cats; "it's coming in this direction..." she mewed to them all, including him.

Ravenflame:

Ravenflame hesitated a little I don't want to take charge too much, but I've seen the badger before so i know the most right? he thought. "We should surround it some cats can be in the trees to leap on top ,and a few from each side maybe." He said it somewhat suggesting rather than taking charge.

Finding her other clanmates blossompetal helped out with the badger problem.

Dapplefur's tail twitched as Ravenflame spoke. He was only suggesting, however. Besides, she'd already told him off once, and he didn't need it again. But the appearance of Smoky made her wary. She didn't trust the loner she-cat, because, well, she was a loner. "Ravenflame's idea sounds good. Spottedpaw and Darkpaw, you two should stay well away from the badger's paws and fangs. Ravenflame, you blend well with the shadows, so stay on the ground. I will as well. Move quickly," she said, flicking her tail.

Spottedpaw nodded and started for the tree nearest to him. He climbed quickly, digging his claws into the bark. This is for LeafClan cats, he thought, annoyed when his paws slipped. He made it to a low branch and hung on tight. He waited for the badger to come into sight and for Dapplefur's signal.
