I think you can rename the group again.

Two questions.

1) How do people get the special release pets?

2) How does subscribing to a thread work?

I know it's different from just marking it, but other than that, I can't find much info on it. For example, I create a thread in the adoptables oekaki and people subscribe to it. Does that mean they get notified when other people comment on it or do they get notified when I make a created pet under the thread? I'm very confused about this. People have been asking me about oekaki threads and me pming them when I post a new adoptable. If the subscribe notifies when I post the new ones under the thread, I can just go ahead and tell them to subscribe.

Special release pets are adoptable on certain days. For the UR pets, that's dec 18th, you have a random chance to get one. Subscribing to a thread means you get emails when someone replies to it.
This means anyone though. So if someone comments on your thread, they would get an email.

Also, for clarification since other people have gotten confused by it: "email" actually means email. So one's Yahoo account, Gmail, Hotmail, etc. and not the Private Message (PM) system on Chicken Smoothie.

Nothing like that has happened on Chickensmoothie as far as I recall. If you want to make suggestions for adoptables, please post in the Pet Design Suggestions thread.

Something kinda like it happened for April Fools in '09. There was a gift box to adopt on the dog page that tuned into cats. It never passed any dog growth stages or anything but it was confusing anyway^^.

I belive something like that happened this year too; the cats for April fools first looked like Lion cubs, then grew into kittens, and then back to grown lions!
