I wouldn't enter the fanfic though, it includes me and several other people I know in it ith descriptions of them.. really it's just for me :p. I am thinking about writing another 'officail' fanfic though... Would that count in Script Frenzy though? Since I don't own NCIS or any of the characters. I'm guessing you like NCIS though?
Do you even need to ask? I'm currently jumping back and forth searching for McGee stamps. 8D
And yes, that would count. A lot of people write fanfictions, and it would be fun to write one for Script Frenzy, although I think it's back in April. D:

This year will be my first year participating in NaNoWriMo, as I only heard about it late last month. I'm going to try to get to the 50,000 words, even though that's probably a ridiculous goal for a first-timer - I've had a novel idea floating around my mind for a long while now, and it'll be good to hash out a full (or near-full) rough draft over the course of one month.

I'M DOING IT!!! :3
I did it once when I was 11. 15,000 words in the end... XD I didn't do it when I was 12, and I gave up after two days last year because I got so stuck that I was all @A@WHAT TO DO and stuff.
BUT I WILL TRY MY BEST THIS YEAR. Seriously. *resilient mode* I shall ignore the fact that I'm bad at perseverance. XD

I've done it twice now - my first year I got about halfway there, but I couldn't get any farther. >,,< And then, shortly after that, the novel I had spent all month on was somehow got an error, and I lost it all. ;_;
Last year I hit 50,000 words, and couldn't stop - I ended up at about 95,000 in January, after I took about a month break after the November insanity, XD. I'm so excited for this year, because I actually have some kind of plan!!!

MariaShade wrote:And for those of you doing it what are you writing? Genre? Plot? Characters? I'm a curious soul.
Fantasy, and a multitude of characters. In the novel there's going to be three seperate 'books' (not seperate books in a trilogy, mind you, but three main parts in one novel, each one divided into chapters), each one focusing on a certain character and their lives. All three of them are going to intertwine and take place in the same world/time period. The first 'book' focuses around a wraith, the second a contract assassin, and the third a king. Haven't been able to summarize the plot itself without it being huge, so I'm still working on that.
If you don't mind me asking, have any of those participating this year started doing the Write or Die? If so, what goal have you gotten/are you striving for? I've recently started it, and it's certainly a good motivator.
