this young mare is named black rose. she is five year old american mustang. she has a foal named bullet. black rose is completely black, obviously, with no markings at all. this mare has strange sapphire blue eyes. they are quite beautiful, and they usual reveal her every thought. she is an open book, whether she wants to be or not, because of her eyes. she is a very docile mare, making her history quite strange. she is very quiet, but is a bold leader when she wants to be. she is not harsh with her filly, but she can be quite firm with the filly. she was put into a lead mare position for a few moons, and she was quite firm with the mares as well. she would be an optimal leader, if she had the voice for it.
her history is a very strange one. she grew up in the same herd all her life. when she was three, her father died and a stallion who was being groomed for lead stallion quickly rose to power and brought her with him. his name was sven. a couple of months later, sven was challenged and lost. a new mare was brought to power and black rose was given bullet. she had bullet, then the other stallion was chased out by sven. sven truly seemed to have loved black rose, and he explained that he simply couldn't leave the herd without a fight. sven grew to love bullet, despite the fact that the filly looked exactly like her father, and that the filly had taken her father's name (bullet). eventually, sven asked black rose and the filly to leave, as the filly was driving him crazy. he then became violent, chasing her and any other grullo horses away.
black rose was never accepted into another herd and she couldn't find bullet's father. she has been wandering alone since she was kicked out of her herd. it has been nearly five months. her filly is now constantly in danger and black rose herself feels very unsafe. she also hates that her filly doesn't have a father figure or other maternal figures to look up to. she also hates that there is nobody for the filly to play with.

this filly is officially named bullet for my valentine. she is called bullet because of her appearance. she sort of takes her father's name, silver bullet. bullet is a very fun filly. she loves to play around, kicking her heels up for no apparent reason. she also loves to explore away from her mother, often getting in trouble. she is extremely reliant on her mother, despite being weaned and eating grass. bullet is a grullo filly with two light blue eyes. she has a white face, two back socks, a dorsal stripe, black points, and zebra markings on her legs as per the grullo description. although she is currently brown-silver, she will grow up to be more blue-silver like her father.
she was born to black rose and bullet. a few weeks into her life, her father was chased out by a strange stallion. he didn't like her, but he didn't want to be rid of her either. soon, he chased her mother out. the filly followed because she relied on her mother. the filly learned how to survive on grass, but she has not been able to leave her mother. she has gotten herself into plenty of trouble from exploring by herself.

perѕonalιтy ➣ Flame isn't your typical stallion, he is stead-fast and hard-headed at times. He is easy to get along with if your a mare, but he can be very, very hard to stallions. Flame is kind and caring, and a natural born leader. The stallion was tough and knew how to fight and win, but he tries not to fight, unless needed. He would lay his life down to protect his mares, and would never, ever put himself before any of his mares.

нιѕтory ➣ Born in a small clearing with only his dam as company. He met his sire once when he was 8 months old when the buckskin stallion had ventured from his barn. He lived the first year of his life in that clearing, before Flame left his mother. He found a few mares when he was 3 years old, and adjusted to the life of a lead stallion, and he had a loving lead mare. When he turned 5, a cougar attacked his herd while he was out scouting. The herd scattered, and a few mares were killed by the cougar. He hasn't found his old mares, and is currently trying to make a herd again.

This changed on the day that the cougar attacked, and she made a shell over herself and fled, never seeing her lead stallion again.

нιѕтory ➣ Born in a small maple clearing with only her dam as company. She never met her sire, and she lived the first year of her life in that maple clearing, before leaving her mother. When she was 3 years old, she met the 4 and half year old stallion. Joining his herd, it was only 6 months of bliss until the cougar attacked. Flame had gone off to scout for more mares, when the cougar came and she fled, going in the opposite direction of most of the mares. She now lives alone, thinking about finding another herd, but unsure if she really wants to.
