The question asked was this:
Should we edit the hunt so that for one hour you can only find animal eggs? After that hour it would go back to normal so you can find normal eggs.
We had a lot of good feedback and some useful ideas and questions were raised
if you didn't hear about this, please read that topic for more information!Overall the majority of voters were in favor of having the animal egg hour, but there were several people concerned that they would miss out because they will be awake in the wrong time of day. And some people were sad because they don't collect animal eggs and just wanted to keep collecting regular tokens for that hour.
We had a few people propose an idea like this one by Comettail76:

We like that idea, since it means you only have to participate if you want to, and no-one has to miss out or get up in the middle of the night to join in

- Animal egg hour is now ready! You can start your "animal egg hour" by clicking the button on the event page.
- You don't have to be on at release time, you can start it at any time.
- Once you have begun your animal hour, the timer will start counting and you'll only have 60 minutes to collect animal egg banners, so don't start it if you're about to leave the computer!
- The animal egg hunt works the same way as the normal Easter hunt, but it just means that you are guaranteed to get an animal egg instead of a normal token egg when you find something. It runs slightly faster than the regular banner, so you only have to wait 15 minutes between hunts (instead of the usual 20 minutes).
- You can only do this one time, so use it wisely!
If you don't want to collect any extra animal eggs, you can just not click the button! The regular hunt will be continuing as usual, and you would automatically re-join the regular hunt once your animal hour ends. The regular hunt will still give you a rare chance of finding an animal egg instead of the normal tokens, the same way it works now.
Here are examples of "animal eggs" from this year's hunt, so these are the types of items which will be available in the animal egg hunt:
"Animal Egg Hour" will reduce the rarity of the animal egg items somewhat, as there will be a lot more available to people in the trading population. But since it only gives people about 3 each, most users will still struggle to get a complete set without trading, so they'll still have a reasonable trading value. We have several more eggs to release so we felt it was a good idea to reduce the rarity a little or else most people would have very little hope of collecting them all! You'll start seeing the new ones tomorrow as they'll become available in the "animal egg hour" as well as in the regular hunt as rare finds (like the other animal eggs)
The animal egg hour will not count towards your hunt limit, so for some of you who have nearly reached the limit, you should be able to still participate even after you reach the hunt limit!
