Nikolai stepped to the side, allowing her to go in first. He didn't have a choice, really, she had rushed in before he had a chance to anyway. He followed her inside, looking around the room.

" oh there building turrets in here! " the little robots traveled down a long convertor belt while an automatic arm applied the necessary parts to each one. she picked one of them up " there so cute."

Nikolai's right hand instantly rose up to touch his left shoulder, where he'd once been shot by a turret. "Yeah, they aren't cute when they shoot you" he growled.

" I don't blame them. It's what they were built for." she handed the turret to him. " they don't have a choice, just like you."

Nikolai reluctantly took the turret, holding it at arm's length, as far away from him as possible. "Why do I have to hold it?" he asked, glaring at the turret.

[themossyclaw]

" because, you don't have a choice." she smiled and picked up another turret. " you said it yourself, right?"

"Why? Why don't I have a choice?" he replied, walking around with the turret still in his hands. "Besides, I was talking about letting you tag along, not about holding turrets".

" I dunno, it depends on how you look at things, infact I don't even know you! But I trust you completely!"

"Why do you trust strangers?" he asked, putting the turret down on the floor gently.

" because why not? For al, I know you could be plotting to blow up the entire facility with everyone inside, but that's just life I guess!"
