The ponies inside the cafe stare at the Doctor and Amethyst. One says "but I've never seen one speak before. Is it trained to do that?".
"Oh, it didn't speak. Birds can't talk. It's a... dummy thingy... what are they called?" Derpy muttered.
"Ventriloquist act?" Amethyst whispered before chirping randomly.

Doctor- Uh.. yeah, I'm a ventriloquist. The bird is my dummy.
Cafe owner- *leaning behind the stall and polishing a cup* Want anything, mr. Ventriloquist?
Doctor- Um.. yes! One cream tea, an earl grey, and... *looks over to Derpy* An English breakfast.
Cafe owner- We don't have English breakfast.
Doctor- Then another earl grey.
Doctor- Uh.. yeah, I'm a ventriloquist. The bird is my dummy.
