"yes, my old bones won't be any good if I'm a warrior for much longer." he said purring, It didn't offend him, he was old and was going to be a elder some day.

Hawkkit woke up and raced out of the nursery only to bump into Riverheart and Windheart. "S-s-sorry," she whimpered.

Leopardpaw's eyes flickered open as he awoke from a good night's sleep. His jaws parted in a huge yawn. He rose himself to his feet and wearily walked out of the den, avoiding tails and paws. He looked around for his mentor.

Lion's paws ached from exhaustion. He had bene traveling in this cold weather for what felt like a moon. It's time I take a rest, he thought to himself. When his eyes caught a glimpse of a flash of brown out of the corner of his eye, he immediately dropped into, what looked like, a hunter's crouch. Lion swiftly moved toward the mouse like a snake. When he was close enough, he pounced and landed squarely on the mouse. Lion nipped its neck and arrogantly picked it up and found a low branch of a tree to settle on. Unaware of the unfamiliar area, he started taking big gulps of his prey.

He came out of the warriors den and walked up to the fresh kill pile. he picked a mouse and settled down and finished the mouse in a few bites. He then stretched and sat down blinking at the sun.
