Jasper noticed he had unnerved Melanie and instantly loosened his grip around the girl's waist, gazing up cheerfully into Melanie's eyes. "What is it?" he asked again, but his voice sounded intimidating and taunting.

Jason smiled slightly and then let out a content sigh, pulling Kai further up onto the bed until her head rest on one of the thick and comforting pillows. He pulled the covers up over Kai's body and then lay down beside her, his eyes flickering shut.

Melanie's cheek became radiant and alive with blush, her eyes wide and curious. "Wh- Nothing!" She said quickly and placed her hands over her face to hide her blush. "I'm blushing a lot!!" She blurted out.

Kai slept soundly.

Jasper chuckled and then gently enclosed his arms around Melanie's waist, pulling the girl in close to him. "It's because you're in love!" he chuckled, a wide grin spreading rapidly across his face.

"AAh! Stop teasing me!" She laughed, kissing his cheek, and laying her head on his shoulder, laughing, her thin neck still warm from his many kisses.

Jasper smiled and then gently kissed the top of Melanie's head, closing his eyes and resting his chin of the girl's head. "But, I can't help it..." he said with a childish moan, grinning widely as he gently stroked Melanie's back.

A shiver ran down her spine, all the way to the tip of her tail when she felt his soft touch down her back. "Well... then I guess I can live with it." She whispered into his ear.

Jasper chuckled softly under his breath, placing one hand on the back of Melanie's head. "Yep!" he said with a childish grin, arching his neck towards Melanie and gently kissing the base of the girl's jaw.

She shifted her pose for him, her eyes flickering closed happily, and she yawned, gazing over at him from the corner of her big blue eyes, a few pieces of her blonde hair falling over her shoulder and onto her cheeks, silky smooth.

Jasper grinned slightly, a radiant blush spreading throughout his cheeks and illuminating his roughed face. A thin strand of his black hair tumbled down in front of his face, covering a thin sliver of his bright green eyes. Suddenly, Jasper began to shift back to his raccoon form, but his transformation ceased in the middle of the process, leaving him a mutated raccoon-man.
