"Nobody cares about me," he hissed. "Peachtail sucks! I'm gonna kill her! Or I need to make her reaalllyy jealous."

Meadowpaw looked him in the eye, her gaze hard, but not angry. "I do. Don't ever say that. I care about you so I will not let you kill her. She may have done some mouse-brained decisions in her life but that doesn't mean a death." She gently pressed her muzzle into his fur. "I care." She stepped back.

Jackdawpaw cocked his head. "I think I'm beyond loving again."

Meadowpaw dipped her head, "Its your decision."

"I know," he mewed,"I wish Larkflight was here. She'd know what to do," grief clouded his eyes,"But she died protecting me."

"She was brave and noble. Larkflight is watching you from StarClan right now, I bet. She saved you for a reason. Larkflight wanted you to live, to savor each moment on this earth as if it was your last. Before its too late." Meadowpaw exclaimed.

The anger faded from his eyes, he dipped his head before flicking her shoulder with his tail. "Yeah, I guess you're right,"

"I'm sure they'll get used to you in time," Kestrelstar guaranteed. "Well, I gotta go now. Catcha later!" He flashed her a friendly smile before walking away.

"Good to know!" Batfang chuckled. He took another, smaller bite of the fish.

Beetlekit watched Flamekit sleep. He gently stroked her fur.
