It's a nice idea.

However I still think it would be also quite helpful if ALL banner items would be released right away.

For one thing people would know what they need to look for. Also With an Event that covers weekdays it's a lot harder for people with regular jobs/school/university to click during the week.

That is why the idea is to make it only last 1 hour.

That's a maximum of 3 Token you'd loose to Pet Eggs. And if you don't want those Pet Eggs you can just refrain from clicking during this hour

I think it's a really nice idea for those who are struggling to find animal eggs. That way, everyone has a chance. ^_^

Im not really into animal eggs, but if there was only 1 set hour per day, Im 99% certain Ill miss it. The majority of players is roughly 12 hours away from my time zone, so Im pretty certain it will happen deep at night for me. xD So I dont support the idea. Sorry.
