Easter Hunt - should we have an "animal egg" hour? Vote now!

I don't like this idea. It's never been done before, and it would just make this year's animal eggs more common and worth less than years prior. If you do it once, everyone will want to do it for other events, and that takes out all the challenge and fun.
It's like fishing where you're handed a prize fish for nothing.

I feel like instead of one hour, you could have maybe 3 twenty minute sessions scattered through a 24 hour period? That way, people in different time-zones and people who work and sleep and such can all have a shot?

Since the time proposed doesn't work for some users, I wouldn't want some to get left out. Although it would work for me, I want everyone to have a chance. Therefor, why not have a "Start your animal egg time" button so that you can start your animal egg hour when you want? It would only be usable once per user. It just ensures that everyone can have their hour when they want, and nobody would be left out because of their time zone.

Oh, actually this one is a much better idea ^^; I second that haha.

i don't like the idea of this at all. i work from 11 to 6 and have other obligations before/after work so that chunk of time would set me way back egg hunting wise.

I have to agree with this. While I love animal eggs as much as the next guy, I think making them the only thing we can find, even if we only did it for 20 minutes, would send their value down way too far. I personally have not had much difficulty collecting the eggs; I have found several on my own and traded pretty easily for others, and there are only a few I'm missing. I haven't had a lot of problems getting one of each in the past, either. I really don't think it's difficult enough to make a change like this worthwhile.

I like how the rarity of animal eggs is now: not too high that they're impossible to find or trade for but also not too low that they're impossible to trade away, because I don't keep doubles. If animal eggs become too common, which I can definitely see happening with this, nobody will be interested either in swapping or trading other pets/items for them.

The fun of the egg hunt is the challenge, how things aren't just handed to you; I don't think we should do anything to change that, and I also don't think I would enjoy missing out on token eggs because all I can find are animal eggs. There's also the issue of how everyone lives in different time zones, so I would imagine a lot of players would miss out on the hour due to work, sleep, school, etc., and I don't think that's fair to them.

Agreed. Some banner things should offer some difficulty in finding/trading, it's part of what makes the hunt fun. They don't seem to be that difficult to find now, I have a couple extra and no one seems interested in trading for them. I think adding more to the economy would drive the price down too far.

Agreed. The timezones where I live are wonky compared to here, and to only have that one hour, I would have to pull an all-nighter just to get it.
