Ravenpaw nods his head, and despite his shyness, his hindquarters are trembling with excitement. It was true that they had practically lost nearly verything, but to the apprentice, this was a new beginning. At Viperstars question, he starts paying attention again. "Uh-huh! I overheard the older apprentices, now warriors, talk about it all the time. I watched them practice as well!" He replies, hoping only that watching really did help. As long as he didnt make a fool of himself on his first hunt!

Viperstar nodded his head. "That's good. We'll see what you know. First, we need to see what lives out on this desolate marshland." His paws sank into the mud below him. How was he meant to teach his apprentice how to hunt on this boggy land? An idea suddenly sprang to mind. "Hey, I know. We'll go hunt on the two-leg bridge! Lots of rabbits live around that, and the fire can't spread over the water."

BladeFire had finished washing, he could taste the strong tang of ash. He coughed hard, his throat stung, he could feel blood started to come up from his throat. He coughed again, he tried to keep anymore coughs in.

MoonGaze sighed and stretched his front arms out, he still felt tiered from the walk to this island, he hated the way the loss of his hind leg made him tier more. He looked up to the sky briefly before resting his head on his paws.
