"As you wish." Twilightstar nuzzled Melodypaw out of the den. "C'mon Melodypaw why won't you help me clean the Warrior's den out?" Twilightstar said with a fake smile. Melodypaw walked slowly but nodded. "It'll be okay!" Twilightstar smiled trying to make the young cat feel happy again. "No it won't. . ." Melodypaw looked down at the ground sadly. Twilightstar looked at Melodypaw. "How are you so sure?" "Because I knew this was going to happen." Melodypaw looked up with her green eyes glowing. Twilightstar looked at her surprised. "And how did you know?" "Starclan told me. . . But I was to afraid to tell anyone." Melodypaw teared up. Twilightstar looked at Melodypaw and thought to herself. "Why would a young apprentice like her be the one to know about this?" Twilightstar shook her head. "Why won't you go take a rest?" She smiled you look exhausted.

Spottedflower continued with her work, taking a long time to fix anything. she was unsure if Echomist would survive, but she would do everything she could to save her.

Melodypaw walked to the apprentice den and fell asleep. Twilightstar walked back to the medicine Den and sat down beside Spottedflower. "Do you need any fresh water or herbs?" Twilightstar lamely smiled.

"go to sleep, Twilightstar, you will have a big day tomorrow." Spottedflower said in a distant voice.

she did not even seem like herself, her eyes seemed to be a hazy color and her voice so low it might be considered that of a male's.

"Okay." Twilightstar smiled faintly. "Wake me up if there is any trouble. Okay?" She smiled and walked to her den. She curled up in her nest and fell asleep.

Melodypaw tossed back and forth in her sleep. She awoke in a strange place. she heard some cat laugh. she turned around. "Whose there?! I'm warning you!" She hissed. "Its okay kit I won't hurt you." A dark shadowy figure came out of the trees. "Who exactly are you?!" She hissed. "My name is Brokensoul." He grinned. He walked out of the shadows. "And you are in the Dark Forest Melodypaw." He grinned sinister like. "How do you know my name??!" She yelled. "No worries dear." He smiled walking towards her. "Your going to get training from the professionals. We will teach you even better skills than any cat in your clan can." He looked at her. "Would you like to learn? The ways of a "True" warrior?" Melodypaw thought to herself. "I want to be strong but is this worth it?" "Okay." She smiled. "What is the price?" "There is no cost kit." Brokensoul said sitting down. "You just have to promise not to tell any cat in your clan. Got it?" "Okay." Melodypaw smiled. "Why exactly?" "Because we chose who we want to give this training to. Not any cat can join. And you have the guts kit." He smiled. "Awesome! When do we start?" Melodypaw smiled. "Tomorrow night." He grinned. "Okay I will be here!" She said standing up. The world faded around her and she woke up in her nest.
