"The housefolk sometimes name you to match you,like me,I was named Mackrel because my favourite food is mackrel,it's not like the forest cats,some names match,like Greytail but my friend Rosethorn isn't red or spikey but for some reason Rosethorn is her name",Mackrel meowed.

Greykit smiled. "They have nice names. I wonder what I will be?" She mewed, deep in thought.

"Well if you really want a name that fits you,act like it and you'll probably get it",Mackrel advised,he began to drink some of the milk and licked his lips,"You want some? It's like what your mother would have given you,it's milk"

"Hmm.. it sure smells nice." She turned, bending her head down, and took a small mouthful. Her eyes widened, and she swallowed it almost immediately. "That. Was. Delicious!" She mewed, bouncing around in a circle.

"On leaf-bare mornings they heat it up and it heats you up and in green-leaf it's nice and cool",Mackrel licked his lips again,"The house folk sure know how to keep us happy,all you have to do in return,is purr,act cute and let them pet you,win win"

Greykit smiled, now tired from her long walk.

The human backoned Greykit into the house

Greykit blinked a few times, and then curiously followed the human.

"You'll love it here",Mackrel meowed,"They've got a spare collar,I've seen it a couple of times,it'll probably be your's"

Greykit smiled. "I'm sure I will! Better than living in the forest!" She mewed excitedly, bouncing up and down.
