"Tʜᴇ ᴛᴀsᴋ ᴡʜɪᴄʜ ᴀ ᴘᴇʀsᴏɴ ᴍᴜsᴛ sᴇᴛ ғᴏʀ ʜɪᴍsᴇʟғ ɪs ɴᴏᴛ ᴛᴏ ғᴇᴇʟ sᴇᴄᴜʀᴇ, ʙᴜᴛ ᴛᴏ ʙᴇ ᴀʙʟᴇ ᴛᴏ ᴛᴏʟᴇʀᴀᴛᴇ ɪɴsᴇᴄᴜʀɪᴛʏ."
Aʟɪsᴛᴀɪʀ smiled humorlessly. The whites of his eyes turned black, and his aura swirled around him strongly. A few lamps shattered in the background from the overload of auric energy, and Alistair's senses closed out.
He took one last deep breath, and looked at Raza with faraway eyes as he lost himself in his senses.

Aᴇʀᴀ
"Wᴇ ᴍᴜsᴛ ʙᴜɪʟᴅ ᴅɪᴋᴇs ᴏғ ᴄᴏᴜʀᴀɢᴇ ᴛᴏ ʜᴏʟᴅ ʙᴀᴄᴋ ᴛʜᴇ ғʟᴏᴏᴅ ᴏғ ғᴇᴀʀ."
Aᴇʀᴀ sighed, exasperated.
"Come on, please?? Look at him, he's dying, for Raza's sake!!" she said.

Genic;;
Genic sat there blankly, "I'm not dying, just not able to really do anything.... Well okay, I'm partially dying, but that doesn't really matter." He looked at Cry with a small tinge of hope, if she could fix him, he could do so much...

Cry;;
Cry glared at Aera, "Don't ever mention that name. If it weren't for her stunt, she would find herself 6 feet underground... Besides, I don't know if I can fuel Genic."

Princess Raza;;
Raza smiled to herself, "Oh, finally, a real challenge...."
The flames twisted and scorched around her, twisting her mane away from her face. Her mane billowed behind her, and heat waves began forming around her.
"Sorry dear, but I'm afraid this is going to be the last time...."

Aʟɪsᴛᴀɪʀ attempted a laugh, but it came out as an awful choking noise.
"I'm not afraid, Raza. I knew I wouldn't make it the second I saw you in your present position." he said.
The energy around him swirled in heavy, silver spirals.
"I'm just answering fate now, my dear."

Aᴇʀᴀ
"Wᴇ ᴍᴜsᴛ ʙᴜɪʟᴅ ᴅɪᴋᴇs ᴏғ ᴄᴏᴜʀᴀɢᴇ ᴛᴏ ʜᴏʟᴅ ʙᴀᴄᴋ ᴛʜᴇ ғʟᴏᴏᴅ ᴏғ ғᴇᴀʀ."
Aᴇʀᴀ stuck her tongue out at Cry, acting like a foal.
"I'll say what I want to say." she muttered. She probably would've said it louder, but she didn't want Genic to...'walk' away in his current condition.

((Raza has announced the beginning of the 'Demonius Games', a challenge in which she has become a target of interest. Whoever finds her, wins. Besides that, not much has happened that really affects plot, except that she and Prince Alistair are engaged in a fight below the castle in underground chambers.))

Cry;;
Cry rolled her eyes, "Whatever. But If I'm going to fix him, you have to offer something in exchange."
She made eye contact with Aera, her teal-ish green irises focusing intently on her.

Princess Raza;;
Raza continued amping up the flames around her, the temperature increasing steadily. She said nothing as she gradually succumbed to the fire, releasing her solid bindings for the first time in centuries. As her iron jewelry snapped off, a massive heat blast filled the chambers as Raza released her inner soul. Her soul was no bigger than a soccer ball, but was considered large in demon types. It became a micro-star, becoming an acute center of heat and energy.

Aʟɪsᴛᴀɪʀ waited, powering up his auraic ability. He may have been a little insane at the moment, but he was a man of his word.
He braced himself to be scorched, almost certain he wouldn't be able to make a move in the first place.

Aᴇʀᴀ
"Wᴇ ᴍᴜsᴛ ʙᴜɪʟᴅ ᴅɪᴋᴇs ᴏғ ᴄᴏᴜʀᴀɢᴇ ᴛᴏ ʜᴏʟᴅ ʙᴀᴄᴋ ᴛʜᴇ ғʟᴏᴏᴅ ᴏғ ғᴇᴀʀ."
Aᴇʀᴀ stared back at Cry.
"What?? Do you want my wings or something??" she asked, not knowing exactly why she was staring, though she had the idea that it was her attitude.

Cry;;
Cry smiled wryly, "I need you to watch out for my little brother Genic, 'kay? He needs someone like you. Don't leave him, no matter what. He.... He needs someone who won't give up on him." And with that, she stood up and prepared to walk away, dusting herself off a little. She could work out the details of dealing with her condition later, right now what was important was giving Genic what he needed.
"Oh, and give him this. He'll be fine."
She tossed a small teardrop shaped vial (which had appeared out of nowhere) and began to walk away.

Genic;;
Genic had been zoning out for the past few seconds, when he zoned back in and heard Cry. "nononONONO-- YOU GET BACK HERE--" He was cut off when she had hit him in the face with the vial, which slapped him with a little *tink* and landed on the ground next to him. He made little mumbling noises as he blushed furiously, or at least what was left of him. The tips of his ears began melting out of embarrassment.

Princess Raza;;
Two white eyes appeared on the sphere as the flames settled around it, apparently becoming content. The flames simmered down a little, almost as if they were hesitant.
"Try me."

Aʟɪsᴛᴀɪʀ shook his head, and motioned his hoof to her slowly, trying not to blast her with auraic energy.
He stared at her with his glowing yellow eyes, not speaking.
He nodded to her, as if to say, 'no, you first'.

Aᴇʀᴀ
"Wᴇ ᴍᴜsᴛ ʙᴜɪʟᴅ ᴅɪᴋᴇs ᴏғ ᴄᴏᴜʀᴀɢᴇ ᴛᴏ ʜᴏʟᴅ ʙᴀᴄᴋ ᴛʜᴇ ғʟᴏᴏᴅ ᴏғ ғᴇᴀʀ."
Aᴇʀᴀ blinked, and blushed slightly.
"You want me...to look after him??" she breathed, sort of hoping she heard her.
She bit her lip, picked up the vial, and walked over to him.
"Here..." she said quietly. "Take this."

Noticing the zebra since he failed in snoozing, a spark of hope ran through him. Scrambling to his hooves, he shakily made little squishy-sounds as he stepped towards him, making pink hoofprints behind. "Ah-mm... E-excuse me sir... Y-you don't hap-pen to have any food on you, t-that you don't need?" He asked, stuttering and voice shaking. Was his ribs showing? The pale pony's eyesight was blurred and darkened, he had no idea. Probably.

Merrick heard someone behind him calling for someone else. He turned and figured out, that he was being called. It wasn't a demon pony thankfully, but he wasn't exactly normal either. He asked for food, which was a little unusual. All he really had was crackers in his saddlebag, but he didn't really need them. He grunted and then searched his bag and pulled the small thing of crackers out. He held them out to him.
