Foxflame told Tawny all about the forest as he sat by the edge of his old fence. Tawny listened in awe, it was the most amazing thing she'd ever heard. There were wildcats, they looked out for each other and they fought for their clan's protection. They fended off loners and chased away rogues and kittypets but they also welcomed them if they wished to join. The stories amazed her. "You have to take me!" Tawny mewed pleadingly. She wanted to go so badly, she didn't want to stay locked up forever. She noticed Foxflame glancing around nervously, like he was afraid of something but she refrained from mentioning it, it may not be the best thing to bring up.
"You really want to come?" His eyes lit up but there was a hint of fear in them too. She nodded and gave him a curious look, his gaze dropped to his paws. "Then, we better go soon, unless you want me to tell you more."
"Just a little more! Please!" She mewed and he nodded, resuming his story.
