I was about to jump then the branch snapped, "HELP!!!" I yelled.

"I came here to learn, believe it or not," he huffed, studying the kit. As the branch creaked beneath them, his gaze stretched wide and he stood, towering over the two. He gripped Stormpaw's scruff in his jaws and pulled her off of his branch, dropping her to another branch below them. He turned back for Amberpaw as the branch broke beneath them. He bit down on her scruff hard and hugged the tree as the branch plummeted down onto the ground. He looked down at it from over his shoulder and awkwardly made his way to the branch he had dropped Stormpaw on.

Amberpaw.

I put my paws over my eyes, "Am I okay" I meowed.

Dust flew up from the ground as the branch landed and Stormpaw coughed, "thanks," she growled, "but I'm not a kit," she added. Padding over to them she mewed to her friend, "Amberpaw are you okay?" she asked

Leafstripe slowed down and paused to scent the air, crouching down he quickly hunted a mouse before standing and scraping dirt over the fresh-kill

He placed her down on the branch, pelt bristling. He shifted his jaws, sore from their weight, and looked down at them.
"She's okay," he panted, then shifted his gaze to the other kit.

Amberpaw.

I jumped down from branch to branch till I was on the ground again, I padded next to Mintleaf and Stormpaw, "That was close" I meowed.

Stormpaw nodded, "Thank-you, again," she mewed, almost choking on her words, Great StarClan, I can't believe I'm thanking a loner, she thought

Syvlard dipped his head, looking away. Once his racing heart calmed, he guided Stormpaw down the tree with the other cats, hesitating once he reached the ground.
"I apologize for that. It was unnecessary, and dangerous."

"Stormpaw do you think it is best if we go back to camp" I asked.
