"NightClan territory?" he echoed. A huff of amusement escaped him. "I didn't think I was trespassing into anyone's territory. Who is NightClan?"

"What's a Clan?" He tilted his head to the side, looking down at them. His frosty blue gaze flicked to the kit. "I scented cats yes. But I didn't think that meant I couldn't come near." He looked back at the tom, his pupils thinning into slits. "Tear me to shreds? Isn't that a bit much for simply being in a tree?"
