Koji was silent for a long time, just looking at Rako with tears in her eyes. Suddenly she shakily started to stand up, having to lean on a tree for support. "Not yet. No, I can't be saved, but I won't lie here and wait to die."

Koji stood up again and took a step back away from Rako, frowning at him. "I can smell metal, Rako. Shut up a minute..." She looked around and followed the scent to a muddy place near a bush, similar to where Yuki had been killed. She ducked down to look under the bush when suddenly a snare tightened around her neck, strangling her. She tried to pull back in panic, but a leghold trap snapped shut on her leg too...

Shade tore a leaf off a tree, he checked for poison or rashes and soaked it in water to wash away any bacteria. He gently plastered it on some of Jack's wounds and made poultices for the others. "There. I'm bringing you to a friend if you don't mind being cared for by someone."
