The air was crisp and cold when I awoke, and dew glistened as the sun
caught the dew on the moss that hung over the den. Soft ferns covered
the cave floor, my body resting on it. It was time for the dawn hunting
patrol, I thought to myself, stifling a huge yawn. Heaving myself up and
stretching, I padded towards the entrance, my paws meeting the moist
forest soil. Another beautiful day, I thought to myself, as the sun’s rays
cut through the tree tops.

I crouched down below the tall moist grass of the forest, ears alert and up,
attentive and listening for any slight noises. My noise twitched slightly as a
draft of wind carried by, the scent of mice. Licking my jaws and crouching low,
I got down in a hunter’s crouch. I patiently waited for the little creature to
appear, my yellow eyes searching the surrounding area. And then, I saw it.

A tiny blur crossed my sight, scurrying along. A mouse it was indeed. Still in
a low crouch, I took silent steps, slowly and steadily. Its noise twitched furiously
as it caught my scent but it was too late to save it now. I took a leap and
pounced on it, claws unsheathed as it dug into its back, and my teeth sunk
into the meaty flesh of its neck, killing it with a swift bite.

As I came back to the familiar area of the camp, I laid down three squirrels
and two mice in the fresh kill pile. I took a vole back to my den, taking a small
bite into it, savoring the taste in my mouth.A successful catch today, I thought
and smiled. It wasn't common for a leader much to go on a patrol, but I liked catching
his own food and eating it fresh.

My eyes drifted to the warrior den as I heard a couple of yawns. His clan mates were
up, which meant time to get some work started. It was beginning new leaf, and I was
glad that leaf bare was about over. Which meant more prey for his clan. Licking my lips,
I finished the last of the vole.


[Not exactly starting, I guess, but I'll do some intro. Of course, I won't be writing in first
person form later, I will be writing in third person form. Hopefully this RP goes well ;u;]

Deputy in Dawnclan is open, and Duskclan is all open for those either positions ^^

Im not sure, I think Dawnclan medicine cat and deputy are taken
