Jaron walked up to the teacher's desk and began to explain his problem. After listening for a little while, the teacher nodded slowly. The man reached into his desk, pulling out a pad of paper and scribbling Jaron a note. The boy thanked him, taking the paper and heading back to the door. On his way there, he gave Kiyoshi a small wave, recognizing him for their conversation earlier in the hallway.

The teacher scowled at him and people laughed, and, because Rin was very sensitive, he almost cried, but luckily, he held the tears back.
