Echochance shot Enterfoot a look, "Ok," she said angrily, "You can make fun of me, or Artic or any other cat in this camp, but you do NOT make fun of Shudderleaf!" She pressed her face really close to his and whispered, "You have NO idea what she's been thru..."
Enterfoot only smiled at making Echochance angry.

"What's going on?' Dripkit mewed. "There are bad cats out there with huge teeth and claws." Shudderleaf replied. "We better stay in here." She added, Dripkit shivering with fear. "But I'm going to love you and protect you, even after you go to Starclan." Meowed the mother lovingly as she licked his ear. "No cat will harm you."

Echochance sighed... "Articpast, Ivorytower, take him as a prisoner, Stonefox, you are in charge of his care. Nightcling you keep an eye to make sure he doesn't escape. I don't know why he's here, but I intend to find out."
The warriors nodded and dragged the slashing cat away. Echochance went over to check on Shudderleaf and her kit. I saw you and Dripkit be attacked, are you ok? Do you need anything?" She asked politely.

Just as Echochance completed her sentence, Bluekit and Scarletkit hobbled out of the nusery and over to Dripkit. Birchfire came out and said, "Sorry, still new at this whole 'mother' thing." She laughed and picked up Bluekit and called Scarletkit to follow.

"I think I'm okay, but I think Dripkit could use a poppy seed or two to help him calm down." Shudderleaf mewed

Echochance nodded and bounded away, she returned to Shudderleaft and dropped the seeds infront of Dripkit. She mewed a small goodbye and went to get some herbs for her bruised leg.

Suddenly, a sharp yowl came from the nursery. It was clearly Birchfire, Echochance forgot her leg and wove her way through the other cats into the nursery. Tears had stained Birchfires face, she managed to whisper through her sobbing, "Somebody stole Ripplekit and Indigokit."

Shudderleaf pricked her ears. Stolen? She wondered and told Dripkit to stay put. She hurried out to meet Birchfire. "Who did it?" Shudderleaf meowed. "When did it happen?"
