What you can expect from me

I am normally on from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm Eastern Standard Time during school, which for me is Monday - Thursday, but I will also be on whenever I can get on. I will most likely tell you if I have a day off from school, when I'm going to bed, etc. because I feel that the person I RP with should expect when I'm on. I will most likely not abandon any RP I'm in because I don't like being abandoned myself. I have been asked to start a few, but the other RPer forgets about it and ends up leaving me wondering what happened. My writing will vary from one sentence to several based on what I have to work with and if I have muse for it at the moment. I also tend to use words that a few people don't know, so if you feel I'm using a word you don't know, feel free to ask me what it means. I don't mind talking outside of RPing, and I like getting to know the other person. And I will always post something, either right after the other person posts something or when I have time.


What I expect from you


I don't expect a lot, considering that there are so many different people with different skills at the moment. Please don't abandon me and at least tell me when you won't be on. RPing sparks my imagination and I am always dreaming of different outcomes for a single post. It's what gets me through the day. I also want you to be specific as to where you are, who your character is, what they are like, etc., what your character is doing; you get the point. I honestly can read one thing and think of something totally different from what you are actually trying to say. My mind is a series of scribbles and I honestly make a mess of a lot of things.

Hello There Fellow People. Im currently seeking a One-on-One roleplay, if you haven't figured that already. I play Chicken Smoothie mainly for the RolePlaying and I am on other roleplaying sites such as Forgotten Toys. My username for Forgotten Toys is FluffyLlama, encase you were wondering. I consider myself as a Semi Literate role player, usually posting 2-4 paragraphs but I am capable of posting up to 6+ paragraphs if its a interesting RolePlay or if my partner tends to roleplay large amounts of paragraphs full of detail, which I am completely fine with. I tend to mirror my partner either way. I active and post regularly. Atleast 5 times a week. I can take the role both male and female and am comfortable with the same gender relationships. Im also up for RolePlaying on Forgotten Toys if you find it easier. Its completely up to you. One last thing you might want to know, I don't like plain romance. I know its easy and all, but it can get boring. If we add a plot it just keeps it going and interesting. I cant leg it.

What I would like from you>>
I don't want to be picky, but I would like you to be at least the littlest bit literate. What I mean by that is; Detail: Im not interested in 2 sentence role plays and would rather you to be very specific. Use the 5 senses technique; Sight, Smell, Sound, Taste and feel. Activeness: Please be active. Don't worry about fretting and panicking that you cant post everyday. Thats fine. But do try post 3-5 times a week. Plus if you are going to be in-active, please mention. It makes me annoyed when I eagerly wait for a reply for weeks and nothing comes. Especially when I check everyday. Literacy: I would like you to be SemiLiterate. That means detail, aswell as amount. Sorry darl, im not interested in 1-2 sentence posts. Before I begin talking about RPs, I will tell you a bit about my self. I live in USA but I was born in China. I get on at roughly 4:30PM since that's when I get back from school. Very rarely do I ever get on before that since I'm in a rush to get to school.


When roleplaying, I can write paragraphs to a sentence. It really depends on what I think I can do for my part. If I feel that i don't have much to say, then I won't write a ton. If I have a lot to say, I will write a lot. It really depends on what happens. I always try my best to use perfect punctuation and perfect spelling. Even posts that have been read and replied to, I will correct them just because I like to read over the roleplay to refresh my memory or just go and see the nice little improv story. I correct posts because of my OCD and ir's just a must.


I expect you to be okay with grammar. Even if English isn't your first language, all I ask is that you know when to capitolize and all that jazz. I won't make you use perfect punctuation, just do it to the best of your ability is all I ask.

Hello there. I'm Ptolemy, and I'm looking for some 1x1s.

I'm new to roleplaying, having stopped practicing it continuously some years ago, but I'm willing and ready to jump back in. I don't have many requirements to who I RP with, but the basics are:
1) Be at least semi-literate. My definition of semi-literate is not someone who can produce one hundred and fifty words. That's not how I roll. I want good grammar, spelling, and syntax, and visible effort towards creating an entertaining roleplay. There's nothing interesting about twelve lines of describing your clothes! Try and advance the plot or reveal more about your character without resorting to blatantly typing up an information sheet and calling it a paragraph. The best characters are revealed throughout the course of a roleplay, not in the character sheet. As a rule I ask for at least one chunky paragraph of 8-10 lines or more, but it can vary from post to post.
2) Be active. I know what it's like to be a busy person, even if I'm very good at condensing work into shorter periods of time. I get that people have lives, and this is a roleplaying site--the priority level is fairly low as far as most things go. That being said, I don't want to wait a week between posts. Think about it mathematically. That means only 52 posts a year. I really prefer that you be able to post once every two-three days at least, with no more than five days between posts. If something comes up, let me know! I'd rather wait two weeks knowing you'll be back than wait two weeks wondering whether you're alive or not.
3) Be creative! I can be a creative person, but thinking up entire plots and coming up with RPs from scratch is not my forte. I'm much better at discussing ideas and throwing out suggestions than coming up with every facet of a roleplay from scratch. I have ideas for topics I'll post at the end of this, and you're always welcome to suggest more. Keep in mind that I also have some topics I don't want to roleplay.
4) Have a good attitude. The whole point of roleplaying for me is to entertain myself. I don't roleplay to improve my grammar, syntax, or vocabulary, and it does not have any direct correlation on my 'real' life. The sole purpose for me being here is to have fun. I can't have fun if my partner is grumpy, grouchy, and barks at me whenever I'm a little bit late on posting, or I ask questions, or anything else. It may sound cold, but I have no problem dumping a partner who makes my experience here a nightmare. As much as I am kind, I will not hesitate to report you or ignore you if you have a bad attitude. Sit back, relax, and have fun. That's what CS is for.
5) No elitists. Please. I might come off as an elitist, but I'm not. I'm really not asking for much. It's not hard to produce posts with near-flawless conventions. I tolerate errors as long as they don't happen because you're too lazy to proofread your work. I'm new to this. I'm not incompetent and uninformed, but I am new. You can expect what I expect, but don't expect me to suddenly transform into Mark Twain overnight.

I'm willing to do a lot of ideas. My favorite topics currently are:
-supernatural roleplays (especially shapeshifters and werewolves)
-science fiction roleplays (advanced technology and whatnot)
-casual human roleplays (roleplays involving humans doing casual things, such as hanging out, or doing camping trips, whatever)
-apocalypse roleplays (speaks for itself, really)
-zombie roleplays (which can tie in with the apocalypse, I suppose)
-hybrid roleplays (human/animal hybrids featured)
-dragon roleplays (I'm a HUGE fan of the Inheritance Cycle, so...)
-anything interesting, original, and creative all at once (if it's good enough, I'll venture out of my comfort zone--really, I will!)

There are also topics I won't touch with a fifty foot pole, such as:
-equestrian roleplays of any kind
-warrior cat roleplays
-roleplays strictly revolving around romance (don't get confused here--I enjoy romance in my roleplays, but having the entire plot be strictly around romance is not what I want. It can be a subplot, or happen as the plot evolves, but I don't want the end goal of the roleplay to be x character married to y character)
-strictly vampire roleplays
