She dropped into a hunters crouch, her limbs tucked under her as her ears perked high, listening carefully as her tail hung low, barely brushing the ground. She quietly heard a small scuffling sound, turning her cranium, and continuing on in that direction. Following the sound, she silently brushed few reeds aside, eyeing a frog dashing through the water. FeatherTail waited until it stopped, then from her hiding spot, pounced. Her front limbs outstretched with unsheathed claws, quickly clutching the slimy creature, piercing it until it went limp. Satisfied, she hid it in the weeds, continuing on with her hunt.

Razorheart paused, thinking. "Okay," He said finally. "Let's make a deal. Hunt without listening. If you miss the first three pieces of prey, we do it my way. If you catch at least two of the first three pieces, then..." He trailed off, searching for something. "...then I'll say that you passed the reed portion of your training, and we move on to whatever you want to do for the rest of the day."

"Deal! I bet i can EASILY get at least five mice!" Raggedpaw meowed, puffing out his fluffy, white chest. "I'll catch enough prey for the elders, queens, and kits combined before you know it!"

She turned to look from the original meeting spot, giving out a sigh as she tracked by, reappearing through the reeds, flicking her tail. "RaggedPaw, you must hush, you'll scare all they prey around."She finished, her ears pierced as she shook her head, turning tail, stalking through the undergrowth to continue her hunt. Her pelt bristled as the reeds stuck to her pelt, ears perked for sounds.

"Okay," Said Razorheart, flicking his tail. "Go."

Silverpaw's ears twitched as she smiled at the warriors comfort. The mute apprentices eyes lit up, seeing the fish Featherpelt showed her coming this way, getting ready for the fishes, Silverpaw out stretched her claws. Wiping her front paws into the water as the fish swam by, catching one by its tail.

Featherpelt was so impressed! She purred and rubbed the small kitty's back. she helped get the fish rangled onto land since she was struggling to grip. When the fish finally died she smiled greatly and showed her how great that was. She pushed the fish to the kitty and then motioned her towards camp, she explain in motions that that was great and she needed to show some amazing skills of her first fish.

Raggedpaw nodded quickly and darted off into the reeds, sniffing the air quickly in each spot he pasted.

Silverpaw purred, it was one of the only noises she could make. Picking up the fish she followed Featherpelt happily.

Now featherpelt needed a way to teach the young learner to understand speach, she would first mouth the words then show her what it means so she could to. She checked the kitty to make sure she wasent far back and countined towards the center of camp. So, in motions she explained to watch carefully, she flicked her tail to show her to "go that direction" but she stopped her and looked at her and once agained motioned "watch." Then she said the words "go there" slow enough where she could see what she was doing. she did that 2 more times and looked at the kitten to see if she could find out what i was saying.

J A Y P A W

Jaypaw pounced energetically around camp looking for something to do. He crouched like he had been taught and launched out and pretended to tackle an opponent.
