"I understand that it's for protection but I don't want you hurting yourself or others by accident. Get me?" He asked looking at her and smiling. "I don't mind, plus I can't tell you what to do, but other than that I just want to know you won't hurt me." He chuckled meaning the last part as a joke to lighten up the mood.

Cinder didn't reply, she wasn't even listening any more. "I- we should go." She whispered, her voice was shaking slightly, her green eyes wide with fear of what was going on in her mind. She went to take a step forward, but needed to hod a tree for support, suddenly weaker then she had thought she was. She closed her eyes and just leaned against the tree.

Dylan nodded and took a deep breath. He looked up an saw Cinder leaning on the tree, "You alright?" But he didn't wait for a replay but went up to her and carried her piggy-back style to the fence. "So much for having fun," he mumbled to himself incoherently.

[Serenity.]

Cinder gasped a bit, shocked by the sudden contact. She closed we eyes tightly and sighed, feeling as if she messed everything up. "Sorry..." She whispered at last, her bright green eyes scanning their surroundings. She was thinking way too much and her thoughts were getting to her. She started trembling slightly and she closed we eyes again trying to block out her thoughys.

He shook his head and sighed. "Don't worry about it, let's just get home. The sooner the better so we don't have to get punished and sleep in that dirty old attic." He picked up the pace as it started to get colder.

"Yea, I'd end up LITTERATELY killing myself if I got locked in th-" she cut herself off, eyes widening. "I didn't mean to say that." Cinder whispered weakly, embarrassed

He shook his head. "Don't say things like that in front of other people, it might offended them even if you're joking around." They soon reached the fenced and he smiled. "Looks like this is our stop m'lady." He said trying to lighten the mood.

Cinder closed her eyes again. "Most things I do offend or piss people off, and no I was not joking." She said at last. She breathed in shakily, forcing a fake smile and a forced laugh when they got to the fence. "Alright then." She said, as if she were happier then before, but the look in her eyes have away the smile was fake. She hopped down and placed a hand on the fence and looked behind her, longing filling her mind

He stayed quiet and jumped the fence not waiting for Cinder. He took it personally when she said she was not joking. That's how his mother had gone, she couldn't handle the world. A tear slipped from his eye as he opened the back door and he walked into the house up the stairs and into his room.
