She stretched out her front limbs, her muscles rippling
beneath her pelt as a yawn suffocated her breath. Her whiskers twitched, regaining
her balance, shaking her pelt once more. Her dark pelt stood out on the midst of the
bank, the light spray wetting her fur. She gave a small chuckle, leaping into the river,
her paws churning in the water, as if running on the dusty earth. Feather took a breath,
diving head first under the surface, then to only quickly swim back up, cooling her off.

He yawned, his limbs stretching along the lining of his nest. His
tail twitched, his Hazel orbs opening into the sunlight. He shifted, now sitting on his haunches
to groom his dust filled pelt. In steady strokes, he was soon finished, gazing around his Plateou
of territory.
