Payson made his way back to the dessert table and cut himself a piece of cake and grabbed an Izze out of the ice bucket. He noticed the pink-haired girl had come back and was talking to Ellyon. He walked over and said, "Hey where'd you disappear to?"

Payson couldn't help but laugh at the girl's hesitance at answering his question. Time for the big reveal he supposed. "Look, don't worry. I'm not going to turn you guys in or anything. The long and short of it is this used to by where my friends and I used to hang out when I went to school here a few years ago. I graduated just before you all started I would suppose. At any rate, after college I applied for an internship with the district in the hope that I would be able to be closer to home. There is a feeling about this town that I didn't find when I left it. I guess you could say I missed it. The interesting thing is you all remind me so much of my old group that it's hilarious. I presume you have as many secrets as we did. I'm not going to reveal yours any more than I revealed ours. But......It wouldn't be a bad idea to have an adult present, outside of the caterers of course," He smiled broadly at 'Aunt Genny' and continued, "I'm sure Ellyon's aunt doesn't want to have to explain anything to her parents." He took a big bite of his cake and popped the top of his drink. "Does that ease your concern any? Or yours either?" He asked turning to Ellyon.
