i'm super psyched for this role-play, and i hope that it won't be one of those ones with an amazing plot that dies real quick!

Thank you all. I'm sorry I didn't get around to posting yesterday; I just got contacts and I've had a headache for a bit. xD But yes, we're starting... well, now. ^^ Dinner is done, so I'll have to post for Aoife tomorrow. :(


Recent Events:

Late last night, the King's body was found in his chambers with a knife in his heart. It is now dawn, only a couple hours later. Everybody is kind of tense and freaked out right now, wondering who killed the King and why. [The Queen's post is basically a prologue; there's no need to reply to it.]


Princess: She was woken up by her step-mother and told that her father had been found dead. The Queen basically went out of her mind after that, so the Princess had to collaborate with First Adviser Lech to figure out that the Pirate is in town. He is currently under arrest, being seen as the most likely suspect. There are knights out in search of the Assassin right now also, though the search won't produce any results. The Princess is preparing to go down to the 'interrogation room' in the dungeon and try to figure out if he is responsible.

Ambassador: The Ambassador was made aware of the King's murder at dawn. Because she is not the prime suspect at the moment, she is still allowed to go about the castle. However, she is worried that she might be suspected and is trying to keep a low profile at the moment. She may or may not assist the Princess in the interrogation of the Pirate, depending on your choice.

Maid: The Maid was woken up by the Princess, who needs a friend close by. She is following the Princess everywhere, both to protect and provide emotional support. She isn't sure who killed the King, but she's going to make sure that the Princess is protected at all times.

Thief: Since the Pirate's arrest early this morning, the Thief has been holed up in an apartment that she and the Assassin used to share before her departure. All she is doing is lying low, thinking about how to break the Pirate out of the castle, the murder of the King, and what other conspiracies may be lying underneath.

Prince: Some time after dawn, the Prince strolls into the high-strung castle without a care in the world. It is obvious he has been out partying for most of the night, but doubts start to sprout in some minds.

Assassin: The Assassin heard of the King's murder early this morning in the kingdom's village. He wasn't really that surprised, though he wonders what will become of the kingdom now. He had to do a job late last night. Upon his arrival home, he finds a guest.

Pirate: The Pirate's coming ashore two days ago was either a tragic coincidence or intentional. At dawn, he woke up to see the King's guards on deck. The Pirate was immediately arrested for conspiring, if not committing, the murder of the King of Asteria. He is currently under heavy guard in a dungeon, waiting for the Princess to come interrogate him.


Guard: The Guard has been shadowing the Princess since the King's murder. He is, well, on guard, preparing to fight for the Princess's life at a moment's notice. He's pretty convinced it was either the Pirate or the Assassin, because he can't possibly believe that anyone close to the King would do such a thing.

I got contacts a little less than a year ago, I remember being afraid that I'd, like, pull my eyeball out when I tried to take them out or something. It took some time to get adjusted xD
