I growled mentally at Marsh calling Elliot a pipsqueak. "He is not a pipsqueak." I said boldly, which slightly surprised me more than it probably did anyone else. I was still standing behind Elliot though, so I doubted anyone knew where my voice was coming from.

Elliott did a 180° and looked at Annie. He looked at her like she was insane at first, but then he just kind of exhaled and his eyes grew worried. He whispered. "Annie..."

I looked up to Elliot with a gentle but confused look. I turned my gaze back to Marshal and narrowed my eyes. "Say you're sorry!" I demanded with my fists clenched.

Elliott wanted to tell her to stop. He wanted to say it didn't matter. But he just stood there like an idiot.

Tabitha noticed the hullabaloo coming from the other side of the table. She turned to Chris. "Hey. You'll have to excuse me for a moment." She jumped up and marched around. In passing Marsh, she brushed up against his arm and instantly she grew serious. "Annie. Knock it off. Please."

Marshall's eye twitched ever so slightly at the comment of Ben lookin more attractive that him. That was a serious and sensitive topic for the vamp, and Ellyon was treading on dangerous ground. He brushed it off the best her could and simply chuckled, his deep voice a little quiet in the big room. "I was kiddin' pips. Don't worry, I won't be making a move on you any time soon." His fun was interrupted as a certain girl decided to stand up and be a little too dangerously bold, a brave mouse squeaking up to a tiger. He turned on his heel, crimson eyes flashing with amusement and a little bit of hatred. He quirked a brow, and despite Tabitha coming to his 'rescue'. He didn't need to be rescued. Marshall folded his arms, leaning all his weight on one leg. "Make me." He said in response to her act of bravery, setting his jaw.

She looked around as Steve still lay asleep "hello?" She called

Tabitha looked at Annie with pleading eyes. When she had brushed up against Marsh she had read him in an instant. She said, "Annie. Don't get into this." She turned to Marsh and gave him a dark stare. She was trying to figure his motives out. Her sharp elven eyes went directly to his bite, not even partially covered by a collar or anything. "You should really cover up more, um," She paused, trying to remember his name, "Marshall. You could catch a cold, and get the rest of us sick."

Elliott frowned, mustering up enough courage to get involved. "Um, really you guys, this isn't necessary. I don't really mind pipsqueak. My sister calls me that all the time, it's fine... Please don't turn this into a big deal... Please?" Elliott was worried. He looked back and forth between Tabitha and Marsh, and he could sense that Tabitha knew something he didn't. Elliott hated not knowing what to do.

((I actually meant Ben was more attractive then Elliott... Of course Ellyon would think that, seeing as how Elliott is her bro and that would be weird. Ellyon actually used to have a thing for Marsh [if you couldn't tell] so she'd never say Ben, who she always considered another Elliott, to be more cute (or whatever marsh is [adorabloodthirsty?]) than Marshall. Sorry for the Minirant. Just explaining.))

Alaric smiled. "Um..." He was trying to think.

Wendy touched his hand seeing if he'd blush. "Um??" She asked. She felt like turning on dubstep music for no reason. She had some problems with loving music a lot sometimes.

Alaric did respond with an awkward blush.

Marshall glared daggers right back, hoping the shorter girl would just realize that Marshall was a big boy and could protect himself. Then she talked about covering something up, and he opened his mouth to ask what she was talking about before his mind wandered to his bite. Oh. Heat rushed to his face, causing a light blush to dust his cheeks and the bridge of his nose. He quickly reached up and tugged up his collar, covering his secret properly. "Whatever." He muttered before stalking to the corner of the room to be out of the glaring lights and be back into the shadows, plucking a strawberry off the counter on his way there.'

Elliott looked and Annie and Tabitha, his face squinched up in a mixture of disbelief and anger. "And now he's ticked off at me again. Thanks you guys." Elliott stomped out of the main area and just sat on a folded cart. He picked up a soda bottle cap and chucked it at the floor. Why did it seem like whenever him and Marsh were becoming friends, no matter what Elly's teasings may imply, that something had to come and set it off. He wasn't Ben's fanboy. He wasn't actually all that short. And he wasn't scared of his own shadow. He was scared of a kid he knew could beat him to a bloody pulp and/or feed him to the wolves. It wasn't like it was an irrational fear. Elliott sighed.

Tabitha opened her mouth to say something, but instantly shut it again. She, instead, turned her attention to the Annie girl. She reached out to grab her hand and said, "Didn't anyone ever teach you not to talk like that t- oh. But I thought- What?! But that doesn't... Look, kid. I don't know what you're hiding, but DO NOT mess with the Abadeers okay? They will crush you happily. Now look at all the cleanup I have to do." She looked at the seemingly dejected Elliott, though she figured he was probably livid. She again turned her attention to the dark-haired boy how had sulked back to the corner. "He's old...It doesn't make sense. Hmm."
