He stomached the pain, and revealed himself in his demon form. His shadowed aura crept into all the crevices that Alvira's fire didn't. He smiled a pointed grin, and flicked a long forked tongue across them. He wielded the new found sword. "I've never claimed to be the brightest bulb in the box...I find myself rather dark as it is." His shadows blocked out any excess light from the windows. "I also have no clue as to what this blade does. It's rather interesting though. Wicked sharp and etched full of runes." He dissolved, and darted his way through pews, casting his voice through the mist.

Naira stood wide eyed at the blade. She was sure Alvira felt the same way. Immense power seemed to come off of it. "It seems alive," she finally said. Naira cleared the fog and stepped back. "Snow!" Naira called. Her daemon, formerly a dove, was now a raven. "You're now Nix. Remember that," she murmured to the animal. "Mistress," she addressed Alvira, "what is that blade?"

[Flora.]

"Enough Naira." She commanded in a harsh tone."You will destroy the church, and Naira, your body won't last much longer. You are a newly created demon and you must fully recover. I will not have my creation burn out on me yet." Alvira said in a commanding tone. "Valgus, I see that you've found a sword, would you like to enter the ring? The sword you wield is actually a member of my family, all you need to know is to not piss off Father." She chuckled. "I thought I told you to call me Commander?"

Valgus

As Naira was talking, he slipped silently behind her. He cast shadow over her mouth, and wrapped tendrils of it around her arms and legs, channeling ice through them. He held the blade to her throat, and pressed lightly, but not killing her. He didn't think Alvira would be too happy about that. After Alvira's commands, he let her go, pulling his form back together. His eyes glinted yellow, and he grinned. "I wouldn't mind giving it a shot, Commander."

Naira looked up at Alvira. "I think I'll take the one who created this version of me as my master rather than my commander. I do owe my fallen angel life to you. Anyway, commander, Nix here knows whwre the angels are hiding. Go on Nix, show her. "As you command, Naira." The bird flew up to Alvira and politely beckned her to hold out her arm.

[Flora.]

"Alright then, show me what you've got!" She smirked, charging Valgus and aimed to sever him in two by his mid-section. "Show me how you wield a truly powerful weapon." Alvira said as her divine axe closed in. "Fine, I won't argue with you, and I'll go as soon as I finish my fight." She replied to Naira.

As the Alvira closed in, he dissolved, re forming behind her. He swung the Demon Blade in a smooth arc, attempting to make contact with Alvira's dominant arm. He felt the energy of the sword flow through him, and he connected a blow to her calf on the recovery swing.

Naira nodded and stood in the corner talking to her daemon. "Where should we go through first, Nix, the starboard entrance oe the side entrances?""The front entrance is best. Just heighten your vibrations and stay in human form. They'll still think your an angel if you act in such a manner." "Angels are idiots." "Agreed."

[Flora.]

Alvira
"That was a good move, but you are relying too much on that sword. Try chaneling your energy into it, it chose you to be it's wielder so you must have potential." She said, pinning his sword to the ground with her left foot, and kicked him into the far wall with her right. "I'm going to push you two past your breaking points." Alvira said, kicking the sword, imbeading it in the wall next to Valgus' head.

He pulled himself together, and stood, shaking his head to clear it. He grabbed the hilt and pulled it free. He pushed his mind into it experimentally, and charged some frost energy through it. He felt the blade respond, and he gave it an test swing at nothing in particular.
