Hello! Here's the gist of things:
You are a dragon, born into one of the seven dragon tribes:
Icewing- Can breathe deadly ice, can freeze things, immune to cold, sharp talons for grip.
Rainwing- Takes many naps, laid back, can turn invisible, can (or at least some can, I don't know yet.) spit black melting acid, changes colors when they want.
Skywing- Fiesty, breathes fire, powerful fighters and fliers.
Seawing- Can breathe underwater, has glow-in-the-dark scales, excellent swimmers.
Mudwing- Not known for smarts, very strong, loyal.
Sandwing- Has poisonous scorpion-like tail, breathes fire, kingdom torn between three fighting princesses.
Nightwing- Mysterious, can read minds, breathe fire, tell future, dark scales make it easy to hide in shadows, starry wings make it seem that a piece of the sky is falling when they fly.

Each kingdom is fighting for their own side of a vicious battle. The royalty policy for Sandwings is that one of the princesses can challenge their mom in a to-the-death fight. The winner gets (or gets to keep) the title of queen. The Sandwing queen, Queen Oasis, was killed by a scavenger (Human) before any of the princesses got to battle her. Now the three sisters, Blaze, Blister, and Burn are fighting a war for the crown. They each have allied with some other dragon tribes, leave Rainwings and Nightwings. A prophecy states that five dragonettes will end the war, but there are stories far beyond the prophecy. What's yours?

Rules:
.YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE A CHARACTER FROM ANY OF THE BOOKS!
.You ARE allowed to have been born with too much/too little fire (You either are fire-intolerant, or produce and can touch fire.)
.Cliche names like "Snow" for Icewings are recommended, as that is how the names are in the book.
.No giving anything away from any of the books! Some of us are just on the first book! (Things like the real reason for the Seawings' glow-in-the-dark scales and such like that are ok. If you are unsure if it is safe to give away something, ask me in a PM!)
. You are allowed to make multiple characters but no more than three.

Name: Crimson
Age: 9 years old
Tribe: Skywing
Gender: Female
Colors/markings: A deep, warm red, flecks of golden around her in no special pattern.
Special traits: none, but special the way she is!
History: Not much, she was raised by her family and left purely because she was an adult. She still visits them, her mom, dad and older sister, but lives elsewhere.

Name: Imagine
Age: 9 years old
Gender: Male
Tribe: Rainwing
Colors/Markings: Always shifting; loves green and yellow, colors of the rainforest that he comes from!
Special traits: Slightly smaller than most Rainwings; like compare a housecat to a large rabbit.
History: Mostly the same as Crimson's, he left his family once he came of age, visits them, but otherwise explores and lives in small caves he finds.

Imagine chased around a poor frightened scavenger. "That's right, GO!" he taunted, chasing the scavenger in circles. Several times he tried to slash at it's head, but he wasn't raised to hunt or fight so he usually found himself a little off-target.

Crimson blinked her eyes at the sight in front of her, making sure it was real. It seemed that a Rainwing had traveled all the way to her domain, and started chasing a scavenger that she planned to release safely into the wild. The worst part is that he looked about her age. She shut her eyes tight. "What in the name of Queen Scarlet!?!" She exclaimed loudly. She cocked her head but the strange dragon didn't pay attention and played with the scavenger until he had to pass out into a nap.

Crimson stood over Imagine and cocked her head. She poked him gently with a talon. "Hey rainwing, where are you from, how'd you get here? What's your name?" Imagine rolled over, opened his eyes, and stared into Crimson's eyes. She was almost paralyzed by the beauty of the rainwing's blue eyes. When he looked away, they turned back into a sea-green hazel, but when he looked at her, his eyes seemed to shift into a royal blue sea. "Imagine." Imagine said, extending a talon and curling his tail even more. He chuckled and tucked his talons close into his chest. "Not how you 'imagine' a rainwing, huh? I dunno, my tribe didn't appreciate me like the others, at least. I wander a bit, but enough of me. Who are you? How do I know you're not trying to hurt me?" He tried to look fierce, but it didn't work. He just made an odd smile where he ducked his head, grinned to the side, and looked up as high as he could to see Crimson. She backed away from Imagine a bit so he could get up. "Ummm, I'm Crimson, a skywing. I just live here, you know, this is the skywing kingdom, of course." She noticed that his some of his yellow and green scales had shifted blue, though she didn't know what that meant. "Crimson." he repeated. "Hmm, I'll remember that. And I guess I'll be staying a while, too!" He nodded somewhere behind Crimson, and she turned around to find several dragons of different tribes behind her. They seemed to be seeking out caves close to her land, and gathering at a large stone outcropping in the distance. One of them was already nomming on the scavenger. Her eyes widened. "Fine," she growled softly, so he couldn't hear the anger in her voice. She didn't want to scare him off. "But let me deal with these guys, first." She motioned to the ones behind her. Why were these dragons here, anyway? She wondered.

Dragon Name: Drexel
Dragon Tribe: Nightwing
Gender: Male
Colors/markings:He is a dark black, but has a purple tint to his underbelly, neck, and wings.
Special Traits: He can't tell the future very well, but he extremely skilled at reading minds and hiding in shadows. He is very quiet, secret, and mysterious. A strange thing about him is that he is fire-intolerant, which he tries extremely hard to keep quiet. The truth is, he is scared of fire. Terrified. He prefers, quiet, dark things, not a loud, bright, crackling fire.
Other Notes: It is difficult to win his trust. Especially since he can read you mind.


Dragon Name: Rowan
Dragon Tribe: Seawing
Gender: Female
Colors/Markings: Dark blue, with a light blue underbelly. She has many aqua markings along her body.
Special Traits: She glows in the dark, which is helpful in caves under the water. She spends 99% of her time in the water, of course, since she can breathe in it and she swims so well.
Other Notes: Her visits to the surface are few. If you manage to get her to poke her head out, you have interested her extremely. Otherwise, she likes to taunt you and make faces.

Imagine reached a talon towards Crimson's shoulder, because she was facing the others, not him. He thought twice and drew back, rubbing that talon with his other front talon. "Can I come too?" He asked hopefully. But then he walked back a couple of feet, and stared at Crimson with that awkward smile he used. She smiled at his, meeting his deep blue eyes. "Fine," she said. She didn't see the trouble in bringing a Rainwing, unless they ran into trouble, which would be bad because Rainwings have no known natural defenses. She didn't want anyone to get hurt, especially him. She saw a particular shape underneath a lake nearby. She walked over to it, and Imagine followed, a few feet away. Crimson cocked her head. "Man, I should get out more, where did all these dragons come from? And what's down there...?" All she could see was a dark figure and stripes of glow-in-the-dark scales. There was definitely a Seawing down there. Imagine flopped down and began rolling in the mud on the bank, but he paused suddenly and got up when he saw that Crimson was looking at him oddly. He shrugged. "See? Not much of a Rainwing, am I. They care too much about how they look." To Crimson, Imagine was beautiful already. She couldn't 'imagine' (Ha, pun.) how amazing other Rainwings would look like. But Imagine was just fine to her. He did another signature smile with his sideways glance. He was expecting something. Crimson snapped back out of her thoughts. "Oh, erm, I mean, no, that's perfectly fine. Different is good." Then she changed the subject to avoid an awkward silence. "Umm, anyway, I bet you there's a Seawing down there. I can't hold my breath too long, can you? I thought that maybe you might, since you lived in a rainforest, and all." Imagine paused and set his jaw. "Yeah, yeah... Me and my friends dared each other to jump in the lake... I never went first, and, I dunno, I don't remember them being in their nests the next day after that..." Imagine shifted and wouldn't meet Crimson's eyes, as she pondered what to do next.

Rowan
Rowan saw them looking. But she didn't care. She twirled and corkscrewed gracefully through the water, and it looked like she was doing an extremely difficult but beautiful dance. She swirled this way and that, making sure the dragons had there eyes on her. Then, suddenly, she made an exceedingly rude gesture with her claws and stuck her tongue out.

Drexel
Drexel watched the dragons from the shadows. He knew they had no idea he was there, and he liked that. He read their minds, realizing that they were looking at a seawing in the lake. One of them wanted to dive in there. He held back a snort of laughter. There was no way they could keep up with a seawing in those waters. He rolled his eyes.

Imagine wrinkled his snout. "Did it just give us the middle talon?" he asked. Crimson's brows bent into an angry position. "Better not've!" she roared, stepping into the water. Imagine managed to use his limited strength to push back Crimson. He shook his yellow head at her. "It's too dangerous. If anyone is going in there, it's me..." Imagine stared at the dark abyss below. The only thing down there that he could see was the dragon. To Crimson's relief, he said, "...And maybe that should be a last resort kind of thing." Crimson nodded. A shiver suddenly pierced her back, and she scrunched up her spine like an angry cat. "Was I just blasted by an Icewing?" she asked, turning her head as far as it would go to see her back scales. "No..." Imagine said, seeing no trace of ice on her back. Crimson shivered again. "You ever get the feeling we're being watched?" she asked. Imagine and Crimson looked behind them to see nothing but dragons and a corner of dark shadows sheltered by an outcropping. Crimson made a face at it as if to taunt what she couldn't see. "It's fine..." Imagine said, although he wasn't so sure. Crimson wasn't either, but she finally allowed herself to turn back to the lake. Imagine stood behind her, to protect her if something was there. He squinted. "What if it was a Rainwing... we can turn invisible... but no, I would be able to see it, right?" Crimson paused, staring at the swimming figure below, which was taunting them in ruder ways than before. "Right..." she said, her voice shaken.
