I turned around to see a girl facing me. "Oh, sorry I didn't notice you. I'm Annabelle Paige, the owners daughter. It's nice to meet you," I said with a smile. I hoped I hadn't come across as rude, I had just been distracted.

"Sadie does dressage with Dabu," I said, "so I'm quite familiar with it. Plus, I've done it before; I know how to ride English, I just decided, unlike my sister, to pick only one, & I enjoy the freedom you get with Western. English just feels so restricted to me." I said, shrugging a bit. "Everyone I know who rides English loves it, so I'm not trying to be rude or anything," I added quickly, hoping she didn't take offense to what I said. Sometimes, I tended to ramble during conversations that were important, & they usually didn't end up too well.

I understood his perspective on things; it made sense. I smiled as he apologized for being offensive, "You're completely fine," I replied, trotting beside him. I loved Alta's gait, being a Tennessee Walker, it was different than other horses. I started laughing when I didn't see a low branch and it hit me. I ducked under it and continued on the ride.

Piper smiled. "I'm Piper Goldstein, and I just got here." she stuck out her hand for Annabelle to shake. "It's nice too meet you too!" She smiled again and said, "This is a really nice place. My father wasn't into horses, so my horse Whirlwind used to have a stall at our friend Miss Heather's stable. Silver Spruce is so neat and organized!" She stopped there, hoping she wasn't rambling on and on, making a bad impression.

I shook Piper's hand with a smile. "I'm happy that you find the physicality to your liking," I said happily. "I will be giving a tour shortly," I replied, smoothing down my polo and running my hands down my breeches to knock off some hay.

She nodded and relaxed. Turning, she said over her shoulder, "I'm going to check on Whirlwind and Bella-my kitten- now." with a smile she added, "It was nice meeting you- see you for the tour!" Piper walked over to her horse and hummed a happy song as she began to groom Whirlwind. As the curry wound in circles, Piper thought that everything was going along fine. Brushing a bit of dust (that the curry sent flying) off her jeans, she began on Whirlwind's other side, brushing in uniform circles.

Personality {Handsome, a loner by nature but a faithful friend, Ty is a complex figure. He's brave, daring and reckless, always doing crazy stuff with his horse, or by himself. He's a rebel, always finding some way to get around the rules, and he's the one in the group most likely to get into trouble. He does know when to stop however, and generally draws the line at the law. }

History {Ty was born near London, England. His dad ran a huge eventing yard, and Ty lived and worked there until aged sixteen, where he decided to make a new start in America, wanting some independence. His mum passed away when he was young, and Ty doesn't remember her much, except for a fuzzy memory of a smile, and her leading him on a little pony.}

"OK, good. I tend to make a fool of myself, sometimes," I said when she told me that I was fine. I grinned when she got hit by a branch- not in a mean way, but just because she had laughed about it, too- & started to pay more attention to where I was riding. I looked over at her & Inspire quickly, admiring Inspire's markings. I had only ever seen pictures of horses with bald face markings; when you compete western, you mainly only see random-bred horses that are solidly colored & maybe your occasional pinto. Alta was among one of the only few pure-bred horses in the western scene, & definitely had the best conformation & looks of them all...at least out of the ones we had competed against.

I smiled softly, but I didn't think he was like a fool at all. I ducked under a low branch, careful not to be hit by it this time. Urging Inspire to go just a bit faster, so now I was even with Seth. Alta's hair was a bit different than Inspire's, but we kept then at the same speed. I glanced over at Seth, watching him ride. A smile came to my face and I looked back to the trail in front of me.

By this time Piper had finished with the curry and now picked out a hard brush to use. While brushing, she heard the soft mews of her kitten just waking up. With a smile, she stroked Bella's downy fur then turned to Whirlwind's beautiful dappled coat.
