He coughed and brought a fist up to get in a punch before trying to roll out of his reach.

He twirled his own knife and waited until someone dropped the flagged and he took off.

He kept him there. "Next time, don't hesitate." He got off and stood.

She was off like a shot and quickly caught up to him.

He growled and got up, his stomach ached from Scythe's hit but he didn't sway.

Dread

He glanced back, his eyes narrowed and he got the knife ready to hit her as soon as they hit the turn.

He smirked. "Now." He motioned to a wall with several dummies set alongside it. "Flip off that wall and practice slashing the necks of the dummies." He handed him the wood knife.

She caught up but didn't pass him, she wanted to keep him in sight.

He hid the fact he was panting, breathing hard through his nose, this would be a lot easier if he was given more food. Glancing at the wall he moved his gaze above it to see if there was anything he could grab and get out throu like a bent, unfortunately not.

Dread

He ran on, staying several feet ahead of her the entire time. He got to the flag pole, grabbed it and used his momentum to swing clear off his feet around it and started running back.

"Get going and we'll see about a drink."

She growled, not about to be showed up by some brat, and did the same, then caught up and ran right beside him, the finish line was close.

He licked his lips consciously then faced the wall, focused his mind and ran up it, easily gliding over to the dummies and disposing of all but one, well he hit them all but the last was to weak of a hit to kill.

Dread

He knew his master would be upset if he didn't get a stab or two in to his competition so he lunged sideways at Tii.

He shrugged. "Good enough." He tossed him a canteen.

She was ready this time and suddenly dove in front of him, tripping him down. She slashed his side and jumped up, heading for the finish.

He caught it and forced himself to take it slow, only starting with a couple small sips.

Dread

He yelled in surprise and pushed his legs fast, jumping forward right as they reached the finish and hit her arm with the knife.

She passed th finish line a millisecond after he did, then yelped as he slashed her arm and threw the knife at him.
