Soushi watched how her face shifted through various expressions, he thought it was sweet how she attempted to figure out how to go about this the best way. He looked back to the stall, and played with his fingers. Starting to get the feeling she wasn't too happy about the game he'd chosen, he decided to speak up "You...If you don't want to play this we can move on?"
Sure he was bad, but he didn't want to be forcing her into something she didn't want to, or couldn't do. There was no fun in winning against an opponent if the match was unfair. It wasn't honorable in the slightest and whilst being a wily little fox of a creature, he actually wanted to play for once.
He slowly reached a hand up to rub and play with the hair at the back of his neck once more, displaying that nervous gesture once more, he wasn't really aware of himself when he did it. He just knew he wanted to blush. But couldn't on the principle of the thing. His gaze found the shorter girl beside him and he cracked her a sheepish smile, Honestly what was he doing? Why had nothing felt right today.

Sachiko looked up at him, her gaze moving from the game to him. He looked a little nervous, his hand moving to the back of his neck again, and it looked like he honestly was being genuine with changing the game if she wasn't comfortable with it. Her mouth dropped to an open "o", her eyes widening a bit as she let what he had said to her seep through. She felt herself shaking her head, still surprised with what he had said. What, was he being considerate and concerned? Oh, what a day!
A small smile played at her lips as she looked down at the ground and then back to him. "Oh, I'm totally fine with playing this." She cocked her head, daring to take a few steps so that she was close-up to him, but keeping in mind to leave some inches of space between them. She decided to tease him a little bit, her eyes showing that she was being purely playful, and not trying to be rude at all. "Why, are you afraid that you'll lose at this?" Her small smile grew to a wide grin, showing her perfect straight teeth. "Of course, if that's the case, we can definitely change the game." She eyed him, wondering if he knew if she was being playful or not. "I'm only kidding, of course." She leant back a bit, but not distancing the space between them by much. "But, to be perfectly honest, I have no idea how I'll do with this game. I might lose, but I think that trying something new will give me the chance to improve. Also, it'll probably be lots of fun." She shrugged, glancing at the game before looking back up at him. "I'll make a fool out of myself, but hey- I don't even care right now. I've embarrassed myself plenty around you since I've met you, so, I guess that it's jut second-nature, now." She grinned, laughing a bit. "So, what do you say? I'm all up for playing this." She then pointed to the prizes that were on display, which held a large variety of stuffed animals and little souvenirs. "Personally, I'd like to play this because that panda bear looks really cute. Yeah, I'm a seventeen year-old girl, but I still think that stuffed animals are still adorable." She shrugged once more, looking at the panda bear. "And, if I win it, I'll probably be really happy."
It was a rather large stuffed animal, and it looked very soft and easy to hug. Yes, Sachiko was one that liked to hug things, and she had a feeling that if she were to watch any scary movies soon, then, the panda bear would be the one that she'd hug. After-all, it wasn't like she had anything else to hug. If she were with friends, sure, she'd latch onto their arms for dear-life, but it wasn't like she had a special someone to hug when things got scary, and Dad's and friends weren't exactly that "special someone".
Sachiko looked back at Soushi, her hands behind her back. "And what would you like, should you win? Anything there catch your eye, Mr. Soushi?" She smiled up at him, looking incredibly cute without even realizing it. That, and the fact that she had leaned in a bit, she had closed some of the distance between them, and she didn't quite mind one bit during that time. She was too absorbed in waiting for his answer, and wondering what he'd say to playing the game and what he'd like should he win.

Soushi was taken aback when she teased him, and he put his hand to his chest and gasped "Are you insinuating that I ever lose...ever?" He teased in return. "I haven't played it before either, I just thought it looked like fun." He had played some video games in his time here, and he hoped that they might aid him here, but he doubted it greatly. This looked like it would be pure skill.
He followed her pointed finger up to the pandas hanging by the stall before a small smile crawled across his face, how sweet, He knew those stuffed bears would work in his favor. He glanced around at the other prizes on offer but none really stood out as something he'd like, so he shook his head "Nothing here, I'm happy with the satisfaction of winning alone." He hummed, smirking down at her, though in a playful manner, partially. "Do I look like I'm the stuffed animal sort?" He asked, though purely out of curiosity, He didn't think this body was particularly approachable, or very cuddly looking. It was thin, boyish and bony, though perhaps his coat was adding a bulk to his frame that he hadn't noticed before. Sachiko's Grandpa had asked him about it, so perhaps it was suddenly one of his key traits.
He was made slightly uncomfortable by her close proximity, he wasn't used to this position, normally it was he who invaded personal space in order to get girls (occasionally boys too) to blush. Humans were easy creatures to manipulate, make them flattered or uncomfortable and they'd do just about anything for you. Especially if you donned the mysterious persona, with a habit of talking only a hair's breadth away, a kissing distance. Not that Soushi's mind was currently focused on kissing, instead he shot Sachiko a determined look and smirked.
((Thank you))

Sachiko merely scoffed at his comment, eyeing him with a playful look. "Oh, I'm sure that you've lost at one time or another, big-shot." She grinned. She wouldn't admit it, but she actually found herself enjoying teasing and playing around with him. It made the whole atmosphere around them more alive and light-hearted, and it made her feel so much more at ease with him. Usually, when Sachiko hung out with guys, she wasn't on edge or furiously angry with them- she usually acted the way that she was acting with Soushi at the current given moment, which was being silly and acting just the slightest bit immature. But it didn't matter, because they were just teenagers, and they still had some time left to be silly and immature.
She looked towards the game, nodding. "Definitely looks fun. A little difficult, yeah, but it looks fun." Despite the fact that he and her had never played this version of the game before, they were both willing to try it, and the thought made her smile.
Sachiko nodded at his response, raising an eyebrow. "Oh, of course. Silly me to think that you'd like a prize." Eyeing him up and down, her eyes lingered on his slightly-puffed jacket, his skinny frame, and his handsome facial features. She found herself nodding, but she was unsure if she was being serious or not. Something inside of her, however, told her that she was, and she slowly found herself agreeing to her actions created. "Mm, you could be." She brought her dark brown eyes to the sky, bringing her right index finger to her bottom lip. She imagined to herself Soushi hugging a stuffed animal, and the image itself caused her to blush wildly. She quickly swatted her hands, closing her eyes shut and covering them with her hands before peeping up at him from her hands. "Yes, yes, you definitely look the stuffed animal-type. No doubt about it." She nodded her head rapidly, as if to accentuate her point- but really, she was just trying to wash away the heavy blush that had formed on her cheeks. In her image, Soushi looked incredibly adorable, and it made her think that Soushi could be the type that was really just a big softie on the inside, despite his hard-nosed exterior. Hey, he could just as easily be a guy that enjoyed the comfort of the small things, and, just like any other person in the world, he probably appreciated hugs and big stuffed animals from time-to-time. He couldn't always be tough- that is, unless he really felt no need to feel the warmth of such things. She shook her head, not believing that thought that just crossed in her head. No, he was definitely someone that probably liked the comfort of other things, no matter what they were. He just had a real good way of hiding it.
Soushi looked genuinely curious, but then that look of curiosity quickly turned to one of determination and his infamous smirk returned to his face once more. Oh geez, couldn't the kid for once have a look of something else other than a smirk from time-to-time? It'd really make her day to see him smile or laugh more... or, to have him caught off-guard more. It seemed like she was the one being constantly caught off-guard, what-not with her incessant blushing and frequent clumsiness that didn't usually happen until now. And speaking of her blushing, Sachiko was getting increasingly annoyed with it. To him, she probably looked like some sort of blathering idiot that had a really bad habit of blushing like every five minutes. It was not necessary, really, but for some odd reason, her body decided to just let it completely go for today. Why today? she thought to herself, quite annoyed.

A look of genuine confusion was the one that crossed Soushi's features. He honestly hadn't expected that she would say yes, or that her mind would wander far enough to make her blush. Half of him wanted to know what she'd been picturing, though the sensible part of him could already hazard a guess, and didn't much like what it saw.
He straightened his posture, looking down at her with a cautious, or rather, suspicious gaze. He regarded her quietly standing over her, and wondered if she always acted this way around boys, or if she acted this way full stop. But she'd said some intelligent things, and seemed much deeper than that, so he pushed it to the back of his mind. "I suppose that's not all bad..Could be worse." He said, his tone conveying the confusion he had was in.
He wanted to change the subject, not enjoying the probably pitiful image that Sachiko was thinking about. "I bet I still win..even if I do you can have my Panda...I've not got much affinity for bears." He wasn't sure why, perhaps he was just against nature as a whole, he dabbled in technology and believed that that was what humans should be investing their time in, not tree hugging and conserving things.

The look of confusion that passed by Soushi's face did not go unnoticed by Sachiko, and her eyebrows twitched in a curious manner before returning to its normal position. She was wanting to question him about it, but she refrained from doing so; thinking it odd to ask a question such as that. She was sure that she wasn't just imagining that expression on his face, so she thought back to what she had said or acted upon in the few moments before that expression appeared. Maybe he thought that it was weird that I was imagining him as being the stuffed-animal type, she thought to herself. She would have probably thought it as odd, as well, if he had been imagining her like that, but she wouldn't look confused. She'd just have a look of surprise, maybe, on her face. Guess I should stop blurting everything that comes out of my mouth. That's probably the smart way to go. She nodded to herself, hoping to accomplish that before she blinked her eyes once, shaking herself out of her thoughts.
Just as she did that, though, she heard him speak, and even the tone of his voice held that of... suspicion? What the heck? What, was what she had said about him suspicious, or something? She didn't know what to say about that, so she just left it alone. A frown fell upon her features, however, as her nose scrunched up a little in her now confused thoughts. Maybe I really should just keep my mouth shut around him, she thought to herself. Or am I just over-thinking things? She scratched her head, overwhelmed with all of the thoughts inside of her head. She wanted to know exactly what it was that bothered him, but she really didn't want to ask him in-case that made the situation awkward. And, in many of her awkward conversations, the conversations usually drifted off into more awkwardness... and she certainly didn't want that. Nah, it was better to probably just leave it alone. Maybe she'd figure it out, sooner or later.
After his tone of confusion, Soushi had turned his conversation back into that of who was going to win or not- which was a bit of a relief for Sachiko, although the topic of the panda was brought back up once again. She avoided looking at him and chose to look at the different prizes instead. "Oh, it's okay, thanks," she said, shrugging, batting her hand away at his offer. "You don't need to give me the panda if you win. I'd much rather try and earn something for myself." And besides, it's not like we're dating or anything- him giving me his prize if he wins is something like out of those corny movies for teenage girls- and I'm positive that he doesn't like me that way in any shape, size, or form. Sure, it wasn't a very uplifting thought to think, but Sachiko felt that she needed to face reality. The reality being, she really needed to stop blushing at everything that he said- otherwise, he'd probably get the wrong idea about things. She really didn't need that; that'd be another opportunity for awkwardness to come forth.
Crossing her arms, she stood off to the side, giving Soushi's chest a piercing look, still avoiding his eyes: a challenge was evident in her eyes. "You go first." she said, nodding her head at him. "I went first last time, so it's only fair if you go up first this time. We can alternate between each game to make it even." She didn't wait for an answer; instead, she simply turned her head to the right, looking hard at the concrete ground. The rain was still pouring down, but at-least the stall had a big tent roof, so it provided shelter. Otherwise, Sachiko would have opened up her umbrella to cover herself. For now, though, it was not needed.

A rather surprised look crossed Soushi's face as he was told to go first. Regardless he plucked at his collar and moved away with a slight, prideful huff. He purchased himself a turn with the gun and bit his lip, the only sign of anxiety he allowed himself to show.
Boy he'd look like a right tit now if he lost. He seriously hated losing.
Admittedly it was harder than he had first imagined, similarly to the ball game. he struggled with it but managed to shoot five targets, it wasn't enough to earn a panda but wasn't terrible. Respectable for a boy his age, who stereo-typically played lots of video games. When he was done he turned to look at Sachiko and raised his head, grinning in a self confident manner before stepping back and making a wide sweeping motion with his arm to gesture it was her turn.
She was a human, and he doubted her reflexes would e as quick as his, but that was big talk coming from the current loser of their little conversation. Part of him was hopeful she would win though, it gave him an excuse for a rematch, he liked her company and would gladly spend more time in it.

Sachiko Kobayashi
"THE POPULAR"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Age: Seventeen years old | Human | Mood: A bit irked, happy | Currently: At the Hanami Festival
As Sachiko watched Soushi play his turn, to be able to shoot five targets, Sachiko walked up to pay her fare, still avoiding eye contact with him. If Soushi was only able to shoot five, didn't that mean that the game was somewhat difficult? She would have thought that he'd have been able to shoot multiple targets, including ones that would get him to win one of the giant prizes, such as the panda. Instead, she found him looking like he was having some difficulty with the game, and Sachiko wondered to herself if this was really the game for the two to face off on. It seemed like a hopeless case for her, but she didn't want to doubt anything. If she could win this game, then that'd mean two points for Sachiko, and zero for Soushi. Sure, it would be a great way to show him that small girls had the capability to be able to defeat guys who were infinitely taller than her, but it'd also show him that she wasn't your typical seventeen-year old girl who blushed about boys and was clumsy as heck.
As soon as the stall owner stepped aside to allow Sachiko to take her turn, Sachiko grabbed the shooting game gun with slow but steady hands. Her eyes were trained on the moving targets at hand, and she brought the gun right underneath her eye, her eyes narrowed in intense concentration. Licking her lips, she took a deep breath, waited a few seconds to hopefully match up the timing with the time that the bullet would shoot out, and she shot.
Bam. The bullet had ricocheted off of the wall behind the moving targets, causing it to bounce down and onto the moving conveyor belt. Grimacing, Sachiko took another deep breath and aimed, knowing that she only had nine bullets left. She didn't have time to go wasting it on petty shots. She had to concentrate harder and get the timing absolutely precise.
WHAM! This time, the bullet hit one of the cans, and it toppled over onto the ground. Score! Sachiko thought to herself, a bright smile forming itself onto her face. Now, time for the other ones...
By the end of her ten bullets, Sachiko had been able to score a solid number: a six. It wasn't too too bad, considering the difficulty of the game, but hey- at-least she had beat Soushi! Not wanting to be a cocky and gloat about it in-front of him, she internally held in a smile as she turned to him, still not fully looking at him. "Uhum... good game." she said, scratching the side of her cheek absent-mindedly. She would have extended a hand to shake, but she decided not to, thinking that he'd probably find it odd or something, again. She really didn't know what to do, fearing that if she said or did something again, that he'd eye her with another confused or suspicious look. It wasn't like she was some sort of undercover spy, or something! Geez.
Before an air of awkwardness were to surround them, the stall owner called Sachiko over, causing her to quickly turn around in-relief. She was tired of just staring at Soushi without looking at his face. Why was she avoiding eye contact? She still wasn't all that sure- but probably to avoid seeing any odd looks from him again.
"Yes, what is it?" she asked the stall owner, cocking her head cutely.
"Well, you managed to shoot more than five of the targets," said the stall owner with a big smile. "You're allowed to choose one of these smaller gifts right to the right of me." He waved his arm, showing her where they were.
"Oh!" said Sachiko, a smile gracing her features. "Thank-you! Uhum..." She knelt down a little, her finger on her lips. She glanced at the small prizes, which included things like pencils, keychains, and paper fans. Deciding to choose one of the animal keychains, she thanked the stall owner once more as she happily turned around and placed the animal keychain on her palm.
She had chosen a keychain where it was a small brown puppy who was playing the violin, and she just found it so adorable. Sure, it might have looked immature for a person her age to fall in-love with, but Sachiko didn't care. It made her happy, so she was pretty darn satisfied with it.
She held it up to the sky, still smiling. "Shall we go and look for another game?" she asked, bringing it back down and tucking it inside of her bottom pockets. Hopefully, it would be safe there and not fall out.

Soushi;Deity of Lost and Stolen technology
Currently;Tags;
Soushi physically blanched when Sachiko made her sixth target, and his legs felt suddenly heavy beneath him. He'd never once felt embarrassment before, but he presumed this was what it was, his face felt hot and his stomach wanted to leap from his mouth and run away. In fact, for a moment he was scared this puny human body might have gotten sick or the food they'd eaten earlier hadn't been so clean. He tried not to let it him too much, he was a supernatural being, a bit of embarrassment was nothing, or at least it shouldn't be, if you were used to it. Soushi was not.
He crossed his arms over his thin chest -his coat pushed against it to reveal how slight his frame really was- and he watched Sachiko earn her little prize. Against his will, a slightly crooked smile tugged at the righter most part of his lips, he was a little bit proud of her, in a strange 'well done for beating such a being as me' kind of way.
He nodded in response to her question and glanced around the festival "I should think so... I can't really say I want to admit defeat after just two games...and no two out of three rule either." He replied, though something in his voice betrayed that for once he wasn't going to be bitter or bratty about losing. With others he might have thrown a bit of a fit, but today, today was going to be a holiday. A day when he could experience human things and spend time with someone just because. Not everything had to have a reason. Arms still crossed, He shifted to be by her side, finding the strangest comfort from standing there. "You pick this one...we'll take it in turns." He said "We should try something easier perhaps..."

Sachiko Kobayashi
"THE POPULAR"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Age: Seventeen years old | Human | Mood: In pain, trying to concentrate, annoyed | Currently: At the Hanami Festival
Sachiko nodded, still not looking at him. Her smile had long fallen off her face as she took a steady look around for their next game; agreeing that one probably easier would be better for the both of them. Starting off with the two hard games was probably not the smartest idea for them, seeing as they were barely upping one another.
After what seemed like a while, her dark brown eyes shifted to a ring toss game just a few stalls nearby, and Sachiko pointed to it like a little kid. "Just over there, that ring toss game." she said, not tugging on his hand like she previously would have. She was sure that he'd be able to keep up with her, seeing as he had the height to see above everyone else's heads to do so, and how he probably was still feeling a bit odd at her earlier comment (to which Sachiko was regretting more and more by the second). Tilting her head a little to motion that she was heading off to the game, she started to walk, her steps light and brisk. She didn't know why she felt so antsy all of a sudden, but maybe it was because she didn't know how to handle herself at the current moment.
The walk to the stall was hardly that far, but when Sachiko was just about to step into the line for it, she was pushed by an extremely heavy shove. "Ow," she muttered, rubbing her stomach. "Guess I didn't watch where I was going." It wasn't like the push earlier that day; this one was much more rough and Sachiko could feel a sort of heavy pain rooting throughout her body. She hoped that there wouldn't be some sort of bruising left over from that; she thought that it'd be silly if that happened from one simple shove. She looked off to the left, where the male who had pushed her had a smug look on his face, sniggering before he turned away to his friends, walking without apologizing.
However, Sachiko found that smug face almost disconcerting, and she felt her anger flare up; ready to confront the guy- but then she remembered about what had occurred with her and Soushi earlier, and she didn't want to cause some sort of scene. It was better to just leave it alone- she was sure that he'd probably feel guilty about it later... at-least, she hoped.
Any sort of self-restrain left her as she shook her head. She was appalled at his actions; sure, if it was accidental, she would not have been as fired up. But it honestly looked like the guy did it on purpose, and that was what made her seriously pissed off. She was about to run off and find the guy when she realized that he was nowhere to be found; and she really couldn't see over everyone's heads. Slamming her foot down in frustration, she huffed and crossed her arms in pure annoyance. This sucks, she thought to herself, lining up in the line. This is a time where I wish that I was a little taller.
She let her arms fall back down to their sides as she started rubbing at her tummy again, still feeling some of pain. It kind-of hurt to take a huge breath, so she kept her breaths light and minimal. She'd take a look at it later, when she was by herself. She didn't want to be flouncing her tummy to the whole public- if she were on the beach, she wouldn't care- but this was a public venue where people dressed appropriately and didn't show ample amounts of skin. She knew that she'd have to look at it either back at home, or off to the side where no-one could see her. Perhaps one of the outhouses would work as well, but they always smelled super bad.
Sachiko was still concentrating on her pain, rubbing it smoothly. She wanted the pain to go away so that she'd be able to concentrate on the game. It would suck if she would be at a disadvantage against him- no way did she want to be. It was kind-of thrilling, to be winning against him, but at the same time, she knew that she won because of her concentration and skills- she needed to keep on winning with those attributes alone.
