Hat listened to Shamin and Saki talking in silence, and he felt really sorry for both dogs. He was a bit curious about Shamin's history, since he came from a dog fighting background too, except Hat wasn't ever used in a dog fight. But he wondered if his friend came from the same place, it was unlikely, although still a possibility. Finally he sighed, deciding to share his story, even though it wasn't as bad as the others. "I guess I'll say how I ended up here. I was born into a dog fighting arena, too. My father was a champion, and as a young pup I thought that the dogs were treated in luxury after a fight, so to everyone's delight, I wanted to become a dog fighter. However, one day my father showed me where the dogs were kept, and I was horrified. I said I wouldn't ever become one of them, and he attacked me. The people who owned the place kicked me out because of the wounds," Hat told them, looking down at his paws the whole time.

Lacy

Lacy looked at the brute curiously honestly she never thought about searching the meat place dumpsters. Wagging her tail in reply Lacy eyes lit up at imagining nice tasty meat, sniffing the air Lacy could smell a cat nearby. "Thank you .... I havn't eaten for awhile"

Cassidy

Cass listened to the dogs talking, quite glad the small Pit changed the subject of the conversation to something less dramatic and less likely to cause a fight. The Aussie mix was getting bored, she wasn't one for sad talks, so she decided to excuse herself. "Umm, sorry to interrupt, but I think I'll go now," she mumbled, before getting up and padding away into the streets.

Champion of Devils
Demon smiled at the fae's expression. " c'mon then miss, I'll get you something good to eat. He padded towards the nearer meat place and crouched down behind some crates. "Now you just wait here miss, I'll get you some fresh meat from inside the store." He said as he then waited for the back someone to prop the back door open. His wait wasn't long as one of the employes had to prop open the door to take trash out. He took the opportunity and snuck in and sniffed around until he found some meat that he could reach. He grabbed a hefty piece of beef and ran out the door just as the humans realized what was happening. He hid behind the pile of crates with his new friend until the humans gave up.


Princess Sakura
"Looks like we were all worthless in the eyes of the humans...but we can show them different! Let's show them that we don't need them. After all, we can fend for ourselves!" The Akita fae said excitedly as she got to her paws. She wagged her curled tail and grunted like only Akitas do.

Shamin | 4 | Husky x German Shepherd | With Manhattan+Saki

I listen to both Saki and Hat as they tell quick little histories about themselves. Then Saki puts in the comment about not being wanted and my fur bristles. "Do you know how many times those wretched humans came after me? As soon as I escaped they started tracking me with some of their other dogs. They've nearly caught me a few times, and I always get away at the last moment. A few weeks ago I think they finally gave up, but I can't ever be sure. I was supposed to be their main fighting dog. It might have been glorious to stand champion over a fallen foe, but they abused me to far. They want me back, but if I go back they'll abuse me." I am trembling a little bit with anger. The two in front of me might have been cast aways, but I ran away. I chose not to life my lifestyle, they were somewhat banished.

I growl a little, backing up a few steps, turn, and start trotting away in a sense of defiance that I've always had. I see a squirrel nearby and in my mad rage I head straight for it at full speed, heedless of any humans nearby. I catch it's tail as it flees up a tree and pull it down to earth where I immediately rip into it. Once it is dead, I sink my teeth into the body and keep ripping, taking out my anger on the humans for what they've done to me. When fur, bones, and flesh litter the ground around me, I am still trembling. I get up and hear a noise just as a man with a stick comes up. "Leave that squirrel alone! You had no right to kill it if you weren't going to eat it!! " I can't hear anything in his words except alone and kill. I snarl and when he slams down his stick to hit me I take the blow and bite his arm, latching on with my teeth. I manage to sink them in deeply into his flesh before letting go and trotting away to a place where I won't be bothered.

Hat goes into submission pose again when Shamin spoke in anger. He didn't mean for this to happen, he didn't mean to anger or upset his friend... When his friend leaves, he whines quietly to himself, everything happened too quickly, and he didn't understand. He knew the humans were cruel creatures, he witnessed how they treat dogs and other animals too many times. However, he didn't know that Shamin loathed them this much, but after all, they didn't hurt Hat as much as they did him. Hat turned to Saki. Suddenly, with the Aussie fae and Husky x German shepherd leaving, it felt so quiet and lonely. "So, what should we do now?" He asked, not really know what to say.

Perincess Sakura
Saki sighed as the big brute left angrily. She wanted to apologize, but she wasn't sure what she should do. She perked her ears at Hatt's question. "I guess we should find something to eat. Do you like deer or rabbit? Maybe we can catch one together." The big fae said as she wagged her curled tail slowly.

Hat forced a smile, deciding to cheer up a bit - he could find Shamin later, maybe after he calmed down. "Here in the city we won't find much of these, what about visiting the restaurant's bins?" He suggested, gigging a bit. He guessed the fae wasn't used to the stray dog life, where they had to eat garbage to survive. Hat didn't really like to kill the animals in the forest, which was considered very weird.

Saki wagged her curled tail. "Sure, although I don't know if I'll be any good at catching a bin...." She said innocently. "Let's go!!!" She barked and jumped to her paws in excitement. "I bet I can catch a Bin before you!!"

Hat burst into laughter, not only at her thinking that a bin was an animal, but at her eagerness to catch one. "Well then, I accept your challenge, " he said, still chuckling. He got up himself his tail wagging furiously. He looked around the area, searching for a bin to 'catch'. He noticed some bins in and alley right next to a popular restaurant, and he knew that they could get quite a lot of food from there. Looking back at Saki, he said, "I'll get to a bin first though!" Hat sped off towards the wild bins, glancing around once to check that the Akita was following.
