I get called sir enough at work, it's alright.

Looking forward to it, though to say I'm not nervous would be a lie. It's like the beginning of boot camp all over again.

Got any good boot camp stories before you go?

A few, but I'm not sure if they're good or appropriate.

A few tips like: don't fall asleep unless permitted. Seriously, it's not worth it.
Don't wipe the spit off your face when your Drill officer yells at you.

To stay awake, a few people got to pour hot sauce in their eyes like the inappropriate words they are and got a nice visit to the clinic. Some people sprayed lemon juice in their eyes, and some just dunked their heads in freezing cold water.

wow, I have heard crazy DS stories, because my Senior Army Instructor was a DS, so he has stories, but none like that.

Yeah a lot of this went on behind DS's back. And there were a few times that we figured out DS is always right, no matter what your answer is.

heck, DS could say the word "golf" starts with a Q and he would still be right.

There was one point early in the morning when we had just woken up, DS said something rather funny and one guy chuckled. DS made the guy start running in place. He cane back to him after a few minutes and said "Do you like running?"
The guy said "No, sir"
"Well you better keep running 'til you like it", then walked away.
Came back about 5 or so minutes later and we all felt bad for the guy. DS asked again "Do you like running?"
"Yes, sir"
"Good then you can keep on going"

Pont is: DS or DI is always right no matter what answer you give.
