Elliott relaxed just a little as the cold hands left his shoulders. But not much. Elliott nodded,"Yeah. I- I probably wouldn't have come either if it weren't f-for Bonnie and Ellyon making me. I, uh, suppose you noticed the striped bowtie. Elly just gave it to me..." As he spoke his posture got worse and worse. He slowly inched his hand towards his pomegranite juice. He picked in up and, shaking, took a sip to wet his quickly drying mouth. He eyed Marshall, attempting to give a friendly smile, but his smile came out more of a grimace.

Wendy stopped and waited for him. She yawned and fixed her hair. She fixed her jacket also while waiting.

"What haven't you seen?" Alaric said.

Wendy got done. "Nothing really." She said brushing her bangs out of face.

Marshall snickered as Elliott stuttered out his sentences, hardly paying attention to what he was saying. He was acting like a mouse cornered by a cat, all shaky and nervous. It amused and morbidly pleased the vampire. His crimson eyes flickered with amusement, watching the kid awkwardly attempt a smile that looked more like a flinch. "sure, bow tie is pretty nice. Man, Elliott, chill. I don't bite. Most of the time." he leaned forward and ruffled the kids hair with an ice hold hand.

Elliott reflexively flinched at the freezing hands sending his hair into his face. He relaxed a little. "You mean, you aren't still mad at me?" Elliott inquired.

Marshall chuckled darkly. "When was I ever mad at you, pipsqueak?" he questioned innocently, pulling his hand back to rest his chin on it.
