Vivian gael is the astria princess who
never wanted to be one. She thinks
it’s all her father’s fault for having
a child like her in the family.
Vivian is also known as the evil
of the two, meaning her brother, the
prince. It’s just that she is usually
never seen in the palace and never
speaks to the people in the kingdom
which makes her suspicious for her
father’s death. But no one really knows
if it was her for sure. Vivian is a quiet
girl who stays in her own world
and is rarely spoken to. It’s her
brother who takes the main role in
running the kingdom. Vivian is twenty-one
and is turning twenty-two on november 21st.
And that’s the princess for you.

PRINCE FARR♔GANCE ;; the pathetic
█
█
█
█
█
█
Prince Farragance, the second child to the King of Asteria, isn't the sort of type to be logical. He runs off on important dates; slumbers in his chambers until a pretty servant girl might wander by; go riding to look for people to string up. What he loathes above all else is playing that ridiculous game of chess. It's too slow!
Standing 5'9" and weighing 140 pounds, the 20-year-old redhead demands the throne. His interest is in the Ambassador and the Maiden.

she's the ambassador to this kingdom:
the somewhat unwelcomed but necessary role.
she is twenty-three years of age and is the
somewhat friend the Prince and Princess of Asteria.
she has a bit of a foreign, exotic look to her,
and she has quite the diplomatic personality.
she's slick, intelligent, and confident, despite
sometimes feeling left out at this kingdom.
now being framed for a murder she didn't
commit, farrah is determined to prove she
wasn't the culprit, all the while finding who
was. she has a potential interest in the prince
and assassin, depending whoever likes her back.

I'LL SEEK YOU OUT, FLAY YOU ALIVE
█████████████████████████████████████████████████████
Since the deaths of her last remaining family members, Brenna has found a bond
deeper than blood with the guard and the princess in spite of the vast chasm
between their statuses. Trained as an early age to serve as a more covert
version of what the guard is to the princess, she is skilled with a variety of subtle
weapons that she keeps close to her personage at all times, creatively concealed
in her sleeves and in her hair. A doe-eyed façade disguises more than just her
deadliness, however: steely to the core, Brenna is far from the jealous, petty maid
from the archetypal story. Though her feelings for the guard have been growing,
she does not resent her friend for his affections and in fact has also been nursing
an interest in the prince’s ridiculous antics.

THE GUARDmale :: twenty three :: fc is tom burke ⇉xxxFabian was never supposed to become personal guard to the princess. He was born to
a dying mother and a poor farmer. Ten years ago his father was at his wits' end and did not
want his son to live the same life as himself, scrabbling in the dirt for any coin he could. So
money was scraped together and Fabian packed off to start the life of a soldier. Yet only two
years past in the military before the King noticed his swordsmanship and Fabian was gifted a
new rank. Now his duty was to protect the princess as they grew, alongside the maid. They are
her constant companions, as well as her protectors. His loyalty to the royal family is almost
eclipsed by his loyalty to his two friends, and he would do anything for either of them. Garbed
in leather, with a cavalier hat, a sword at his hip and pistols in his belt, Fabian provides an
imposing figure around the princess, thus sending any would-be attacker scurrying. However,
the death of the King has some focusing their attention on him. How could an assailant enter
the castle without him knowing? Would he have stood by and let the murderer pass?█

he was aroused from sleep in the few hours before dawn by a door being burst open. The King's first advisor, Lech, stood in the doorway. His features were as pale as the receeding moonlight shining on them. Queen Rosetta knew the truth before he spoke the jumbled words. "Your majesty. The King, your husband... He has been killed this very night."
wingswashereThe tears came in a silent flood as her heart turned to stone in her chest. The whole room was charged with grief and anxiety. Zillpa, the head of her personal servants, came into the chambers and lit a candle beside the bed. She wrapped a robe around the Queen. Not knowing how else to help her charge, Zillpa tended the fire in the far corner.
wingswashere"The children?" the Queen asked. "The Prince and Princess? Are they safe?"
wingswashereLech's features fell more ashen."The Princess sleeps," he said gravely, his gaze landing on the ground for a moment, "but the Prince is no where to be found."
wingswashereMore tears fell from the Queen's eyes. Her voice was nothing more than a hoarse whisper. "Who would have done this? Why would someone kill..." Her voice choked on tears. Regaining herself, she finished, "Why would someone kill the King?"
wingswashere"There is always at least one enemy of any king," Lech said. He fell silent for a moment. "The King always said that the worst enemy is the one least expected." He was quiet a moment more. "Shall I wake the Princess?"
wingswashereIt was the Queen's turn to become quiet. "No," she said softly. "I shall do it." She locked eyes with the first advisor. He knew the silent request and nodded once.
wingswashereQueen Rosetta of Asteria followed the man through the winding passages to the chambers of the fallen king. Lech remained outside the room as the Queen pushed the heavy oak door inward. What was revealed to her in the moonlight was a king sleeping peacefully with red silk on his chest. Her beloved husband with a shining dagger burried to the hilt in his bled-out heart.
wingswashereThen she was standing over the sleeping Princess. Beautiful child. So much like the Queen herself at that age. The Queen wanted nothing more than for this heartache to spare the child. She may not be her true daughter, but the Queen had always dreamed that the Princess would one day accept her as a mother. How would that happen, now that she was the bearer of the worst news? Gently, she woke the girl.

YO HO, YO HO A PIRATES LIFE FOR ME
tags: none really // location: the dungeon // mood: appalled & somewhat confused
The slight rock of the Siren's Wrath has seemingly swayed all the sailor men asleep. It was very relaxing this evening when Killian boarded the ship after exploring the town. Most of the crew were sound asleep in their cots underneath the deck, thus which Killian did not mind one bit. They were all a good crew, some even good at heart, but all hard-working. He'd bought a woman for the night, more or less she followed him to his ship and then she begged to him to let her on and she wold give him payment. Somewhat happily agreeing, Killian led her onto the ship and into his Captain's Quarters. After a few hours they both fell into a much needed sleep.
A few of his men's shouts woke him from his deep slumber only a couple hours after his affair. The kind of shouts was what worried him. He quickly got dressed in tight leather pants and a loose (tucked in) flannel shirt that was only buttoned a few times at the bottom. The Captain slipped on his wore-out boots and pushed open the door to the deck from his room. He came face to face with the Kingdom Police. They seized him quickly and his crew threaten to cut them all to pieces. "Ease off men, I'm sure I'll be back in a few days." Killian was dragged off towards the main part of the Kingdom and locked away in the cellars. They gave him the worst stall, though it wasn't like he has seen worse. He sighed and ran a confused hand through his dark brown, almost black hair.

♛♛♛ VIVIAN
▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬ ▬▬
The little girl ran through the kingdom, away from the chaos. And away from the delegates. The only thought that ran through her was to jump. To just die before this nightmare took full hold of her. So the only thing she did was jump. Vivian took a big leap from the window of the fourth floor and closed her eyes to take away the pain. She heard small voices around her, everyone whispering in hushed voices. Some said 'thank god she's gone.' Others said 'poor girl'. She didn't need their sympathy. All she needed was her real mother and father. Even her brother. Sometimes, she felt the hatred for him but other times, she loved him dearly. But the jump made her thoughts fuzzy and her brain was shutting down. Vivian slowly closed her eyes and let herself drift to a permanent sleep.
Vivian awoke with sweat peeling down her face and her gray eyes adjusting to the darkness. She had the same nightmare that she was having since the past couple of days. But the young princess did not know the reason why. Quickly hurrying off towards the bathroom to wash her sweaty face, Vivian thought of why it always ended up with her being dead at the end. Maybe it was a premonition. And why did she keep mentioning the name of her real family in it. The dread made Vivian's eyes blood red and she could see the tears that slowly rolled down her face. Something was wrong with her and she was well aware of it. She just wasn't willing to confessing it with anyone. Maybe Brenna could help her but Vivian had no heart of worrying one of her best friends. And she knew that Fabian wouldn't let her sleep alone after hearing her stories. So the only thing that she did was keep the nightmare stories to herself and headed back to her room. When she was sure that Vivian was calm enough, she laid herself down on the big white canopy bed and willed herself back to sleep.
A few moments later, Vivian heard her door open and the sound of footsteps nearing her. Quickly closing her eyes, she heard quiet sobs and recognized the voice of her step-mother which she hated so desperately. All the possible thoughts ran in her head as to why Queen Rosetta would be in her chambers in the middle of the night. But she could tell that something had gone very wrong and wondered what had happened. Hoping it did not relate to her, she prayed and prayed until her step-mother woke her up. "Is something wrong, mother?" Vivian inquired as she pretended to be sleepy but the look on her mother's face scared her, which she did not want to admit. That was when the news got hold of her entire body.
A few hours later, Vivian was up and running around the entire palace, setting things up for her dad's funeral. Vivian was surprising calm after the news and she had no idea how she was pulling it off. The only thing on her mind was, where was her brother? The princess forgot that her friend, Brenna, wasn't here yet so she sent another maid to call her. She had her hands full where she already was. The funeral invitation was going out to all the aristocrats and all the people that were probably happy about her father's death. She made a few calls, letting the story of how her father had been assassinated or murdered throughout the nobles. She honestly hated the idea of them showing up here but she had no choice. If her brother or her were going to take over, then they would need their help to run the kingdom. Vivian was a bit frightened at how logical she was thinking instead of being emotional. What had happened to her? Hoping, Fabian and Brenna would show up soon, she heard the news of the pirate being captured. Good. So they had captured him. The thought made her smile on a sorrowful day but she did commit the act. She was pretty sure who had wills to kill her father and she was going to take that man down. Even if she had to do it with her own two hands.

◤━━━━━━━━━━━◥name; Farrah Arzuf

◣━━━━━━━━━━━◢ ❧ Farrah walked quietly down the hall, pacing back and forth in the corridor outside of her bedroom. The shock still filled her and she had a calm yet tense look on her face as her expression held a sense of tightness and uneasiness. Her bright blue simple dress flowed by her feet as she paced, and her hair was slightly wavy and tucked to one side of her face. Who could have had the audacity to kill the King? Of course, Farrah had no clue, seeing as she had been sound asleep in her room in the palace, but her mind immediately rushed to the conclusion that the royal family of Asteria could make: it could have been her. She was the outsider living within their palace. How much easier could it have gotten?
This type of thinking was what had caused Farrah's father to send her as the ambassador from her kingdom to this one of Asteria. She was to organize a wedding, plant this seed into the King of Asteria's head that could lead to a united front between the two kingdoms. Guess that plan is off, considering this recent news. Her mind raced as her face kept a painted on calm expression. She'd need to seem nonchalant. Worried, but clearly not too worried. Low profile, low profile, that was what she needed to keep. Farrah couldn't afford to be thrown into a dungeon. She couldn't not only not afford it, but also she really couldn't be in a dungeon. That would ruin her life, and Farrah couldn't think about it further. She figured at this point it was best to get dressed and find out how the others were doing.
Farrah retreated into her room and took a hot shower to refresh her mind. As she put on her make-up, did her hair, and put on a long traditional Aeralindian dress in her signature blue colour, the colour that marked her as well, her, Farrah tried to remain as calm as possible, reciting possible ways in which to speak to the Queen and Princess about the recent events. She slipped her feet into her sandals, and left her room quietly, walking about in search for one of the Asterian royals.

BRENNA FAIRCHILD
─────────────MAID─────────────
tagged vivian, rosetta
████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████
Servants were rarely allowed the luxury of sleeping in, Brenna being no exception. Thus, when she
was woken by a feather-light touch to her shoulder, she experienced a moment of panic— how long
had she slept? And more importantly, had she failed in her duty to the princess? But the maid’s
face was swathed in the darkness that came before dawn, the candle in her hand being the only
source of light in the room.
“Her Highness requests your presence in her bedchamber,” said the other girl, sounding very
much like she herself only been up recently. The play of light and shadow over the planes of her
face was reversed by the candlelight beneath her chin as she spoke, a haunting effect, and for a
moment Brenna couldn’t help but think that one of her demons had finally come to whisk her away
from the castle. She’d gotten lucky when the king had decided to take pity upon her after her
aunt’s death; hadn’t it only been a matter of time before that luck ran out? But then she blinked and
the last remaining vestiges of drowsiness were gone, and with it the ridiculous notion.
Brenna sat up and pushed her bedsheets aside, nodding her thanks as the other maid used her candle
to light the lantern on Brenna’s bedside table. “Thank you,” she said, speaking with a level of calm
that she did not feel. “I’ll be there in just a moment.”
What could possibly have happened for Vivian to send for Brenna at such an early hour? This was the
thought that ran through her mind as she changed from her nightgown into one of her plain serving
dresses. Only one thing soothed her fears as she did her hair with deft fingers: that her friend was
alive.
Blowing out the lantern on her way out, she made the trip to the Vivian’s room in a matter of
moments; being the princess’ personal maid meant Brenna had to have a quick way to reach her—
an advantage for sure, but one that she did not currently appreciate as it gave her less time to
collect her thoughts.
Nevertheless, she entered with composure, only to have it leave her body along with a sigh of relief
as she saw with her own eyes what she had been desperately hoping was true: “Vivian.” Her next
words, you’re all right, went unspoken as she became suddenly and acutely aware that she was
also standing in the presence of Queen Rosetta herself. She quickly dropped into a deep curtsy,
smooth and graceful from years of practice, and waited for either one of the royal women for
permission to rise.
