"Spiritstar?" Shalepaw and Emberpaw cried out again. "She won't listen. We have to return to Jet!" Shalepaw declared suddenly. "B-but.." Emberpaw stammered as she was dragged out of camp. Jet was standing, with her back towards the apprentices. "You must go to Spikeclan territory." Jet said calmly. Shalepaw and Emberpaw's mouths dropped open. Shalepaw lost his 'cool guy' attitude and Emberpaw just shook. "I can only rely on you two. It's time for your first test." She said. Jet looked at them. "Find out what they are planning. There is going to be danger soon." She disappeared.

"Huh what?" Shalepaw stammered. Spiritstar was right behind them. "How did she find us?" Shalepaw hissed. "RUN NOW!" Jet yelled.

Thornblaze padded back from another unsuccessful hunt. He sulked into the medicine cat den. "Hey Creek, how are you doing?" He asked looking over and seeing hazestripe and Cinderpaw.

Creekpaw looked up at his mentor, "eh, not too bad."
