Six different young adults, all drawn to the Grace estate for the same reason: Freedom.
Olivia Grace inherited the property in June when her grandmother passed on. By July, she had narrowed down her list of eligible roommates from over twenty to five.
The rent was a bargain, the location perfect. No wonder so many people were itching to move in.
But only five would get to join Olivia.

Oh, but there was a a catch. Grandma Grace had left a list of rules. Or what did she call them?
Conditions.

Olivia has picked her five. Two girls, three boys. Now they'll be living together in the sprawling estate right outside of Los Angeles. They'll have to follow the strange rules, but none of them seem to mind that.

Two came to start over. Two came for fame. One to fulfill a dream. One came for love.
But what will they find?

Ryn Heron grew up in Boston, Massachusetts. with a Welsh-American mother and a New Engladner mother. He got his first nice camera when he was twelve and has been taking pictures ever since. He's not one for the party scene. He is friends with Christina, who somehow convinced him to apply to the Grace Estate.

- Speaking of romance and friendships; there are "pre-determined" crushes and what not, but that can be changed. It's just a starting point. Anything about your character can be changed from what I've posted, just talk it over with me first.

The Conditions
Left in Olivia's grandmother's will,

1. The house must have three boys and three girls between the ages of seventeen and twenty-five living in it at all times.
2. At no point are the boys and girls in the house allowed to engage in romantic relationships with one another.
3. Parties can not start before 5:30 and can not end after 2:30 am. The neighbors will complain.
4. Formal dinner parties with the neighbors shall be held at least once a year.
5. The rent shall never be over $600 dollars a month. The Grace family does not need more money.
6. It is not required the tenants are in school, but they must have graduated from highschool.
7. If the police ever have to come to the property, the responsible tenants must leave the property for at least six months before they are permitted back. During their absence, replacements must live there temporarily or permanently.

scenarios;
olivia is showing mike around the estate since he got there first [his belongings are outside and haven't been brought up yet], particularly the rooms and back gardens

ryn is still driving there with christina riding shotgun. most of their belongings will arrive the next day, but the necessities are in ryn's car.

cari arrives to the front of the estate and rings the doorbell a few times before realizing no one is going to let her in. she goes looking for someone to welcome her or help her bring her belongings to her room. clay comes up behind her and scares her on accident, he's looking for someone to show him around as well.

Ryn Jace Heron grew up in Boston with a Welsh-American
father and a Southern Cali mother. Money was never a problem
growing up. It wasn't like he was rich, but he wasn't lacking.

Ryn has an innocent air about him that makes it impossible not to
trust him at first. The truth is he's pretty oblivious to anything he
doesn't have knowledge of. He may be nineteen, but Ryn acts so
childish at times around his friends it's hard to believe that
without seeing his birth certificate. He's the type of guy who
you wouldn't notice in a crowded room until he introduced himself
with a quick smile. He hates crowded spaces and social interactions.
He'd much rather be alone with his camera. He tends to have
to talk himself into things such as sneaking out, going on spur of
the moment trips, or even going to a party on a school night.

Friends are something he seemed to "collect". At his old school no
one got to close to eachother. There were lots of "friends" but no
one was quite true. Ryn had had one friend he could count on.
Christina Parks. Ryn was always too tall and thin
with his light brown hair and murky, undefinable hazel eyes. He
could pull a charming smile, but didn't have his pal's way with words.
He would never tell Christina his feelings, he values their friendship
and he doesn't want to get kicked out of the house. He's not a rule breaker.
Since he only really had one good friend for the majority of his life,
Ryn can't seem to make good relationships. Be it with romantic
relationships, or friendships, or even staying close with his parents,
he feels closed off.

Personality| Mike is a kind and caring soul. He never hesitates to help another person in need, even at the expense of himself. He is thoughtful and considerate, constantly thinking of others' interests. Mike is very peaceful and tranquil, and very rarely does he get angry. When he hears distressing news, he is more likely to feel upset and sad more than agitated and angry. He doesn't like fighting or fights in general, and when he wants something to be done he will change things in a passive-aggressive manner. Mike isn't the most honest person, meaning he will lie if he thinks it's for the best. He's not a compulsive liar, but he will hide things to protect other people. Strangely enough, while he doesn't lie often, he is good at it, and it takes other brilliant liars or incredibly observant people to detect his lies. Mike is very sensitive to emotions. He can perceive it when the people around him are upset or unhappy. He will then proceed to cheer people up. He's an extrovert, meaning he gets his energy from the people around him. That doesn't mean that he's outgoing, but he does show his emotions to others quite a lot. He doesn't make a conscious effort to hide what he's feeling. Mike is rather insecure. He doesn't have a high self-esteem and puts himself down quite a lot. He relies on others to cheer him up and make him feel good about himself because he's unable to help himself. He gets depressed quite easily due to his pessimistic view of the world. Mike is mature and cultivated. He is well-read and has great and deep insights on the world around him. However, that makes him somber and melancholic. He can be happy and joyful, but it takes someone who is happy and is next to him to make him so. Mike cannot handle disappointments. He takes every setback as a personal failure because he feels that he's not good enough, which is a blow to his already-low self-esteem. When that happens, he can give up on many things because he has the mindset that it's excusable to fail when he doesn't try.

History| Mike was born to a middle-class family. His father was a writer for the New York Times and passed on his passion and talent for leaning to Mike. His mother was a house-wife, so she stayed at home and did freelance work every now and then. Mike has two older brothers, both high-achievers. His eldest brother graduated as top of his class and was offered a scholarship to Harvard to study law. His second brother was top of his level and was the Valedictorian. He was offered full-paid scholarships by Yale, Oxford and Zurich University. He chose to go to Cambridge, who took him in under a scholarship as well. He's studying to be a surgical doctor. Mike, on the other hand, graduated twenty-sixth of his level and had to apply for a scholarship to study journalism at Columbia University, at which he got rejected. He could see the disappointment in his parents' eyes and decided to leave, unable to bear the guilt of letting them down. He packed his bags and moved into the Grace Estate, hoping to find some way to find his self-worth and get back into the game of journalism so he could apply to a good university and become a journalist, just like his father.

Personality: Christina has this whole thing about somehow managing to always get herself together in times when people really need her to. She is a very energetic girl with tons of personality. She is very socially extroverted. People normally view her as rather approachable and easy to talk to in order to help out in situations. She's always up for anything and loves other people, always with someone and likes people very much, constantly with them, possibly because she is scared of being alone. Yes, you read that right. No one really knows, though; everyone just figures she loves people, which she does, but really that's a big thing for her. History: Chris grew up in the city of Boston Massachusetts. There were two note-worthy things that had happened in her life, aside from being born and her mother dying, which made her into the strong person she is today. One of them was in school, she had met Ryn. As everyone knows, there's a lot of unreliable and fake people in the world, but Christina always found something in that friend of hers that made her feel secure and acceptable. Without him, she doesn't know where'd she'd be. Another thing was basically just a common theme; she'd be the one to party, go do crazy things, enjoying herself, but then somehow can get all struggles done as well. Somehow.
