Thrush sighed and smirked slightly. He pulled himself back and pushed her over. He looked down upon her with his eyes heavy.

A confused look spread across her face. But then she understood. StonePaw let out a shrill squeak before raking her unsheathed claws down his flank, springing up into her fighting stance. "What are you doing?!"

He hardly made a noise when he got scratched. "Um, defending myself without hurting you." He took a step back glancing at his flank.

StonePaw shot him a cold stare before resuming her gaze on the ground. "No you weren't," she hissed, striking his muzzle again.

He growled at her. Flashing his teeth at her. "Watch it." He stood tall.

Without moving he said, "Sorry, just. Watch yourself." He sized stonepaw up and Straightened his back.

As the apprentice watched his movements, she became very uneasy and unsheathed her claws again, the muscles on her forearms rippling under her tight pelt. "Don't tell me what to do," StonePaw hissed, "You can steer clear. It's not my problem that I'm stronger than you."

He chuckled again. "mhm. Yeah. Sure." He took a few steps back then turned around.
