Softkit looked around for Longpaw, he was hardly around now that he was apprenticed.

Badgerkit was pestering Braveheart, clearly Braveheart was annoyed.

Kestrelstar frowned. He had grown fond of the kits, as he had of all of his Clanmates. They were like family to him. But he knew that he had to respect their decisions in life. "A'right, a'right. If that's whatcha really want by the time y'all b'come warriors, then I won't stop ya. But I do ask thatcha'll at least tell your parents b'fore that times comes, okay?"

Amberkit pulled her brother's tail back. "Mine!"

Longpaw pounced on Softkit all of a sudden. "Hey there!" he purred.

Mallowshade blinked open her eyes and looked around wildly. She stared at Leopardtail for a few seconds as if she didn't fully understand, then slowly turned to look at the roots, and gave a small shake of her head. "Thanks," she murmured as she scooped up the roots in her mouth and began to chew them. Leopardtail was right; they did taste terrible. But if they would make her better, it was a small price to pay.

Redflower padded up to Driftpelt. "Hello, Driftpelt," she meowed with a smile.
