Q 4- We are going to do a time skip to the first years getting sorted into their houses, we already rode the train. You can just jump in.

Attempt 1.

Maybelle waved at me from the Gryffindor table and I waved back.
I sighed. I hated mealtimes, cause I could never sit with my friends. At least Gryffindors and Slytherins had a lot of classes together, else I wouldn't have even noticed Maybelle.
I don't even know why I'd been put in Slytherin. I wasn't much like the others.
I didn't really know anyone besides Maybelle and Leas.
Leas was a kid from Ravenclaw, I'd met in second grade. We were close, but not as close as Maybelle and me. The three of us we kinda a group. Leas didn't like being the only guy, I could tell. It was lucky for him we weren't make-up obsessed freaks that conversed solely on bra sizes and boys.


I couldn't wait for the first years, they were so cute. I know I vowed never to say that when I was a first year and all the third-graders called me cute, but they are. I waved over at Jinx. Jinx always sat by herself at the Slytherin table and it was all because she hung out with us. Well, it wasn't all that. Jinx didn't exactly fit the Slytherin bill. Most of the Gryffindors just took her to be one of us. No one really metioned her house. Well, some people did, but we just brushed those losers off.


I sat on my table while some poor second year attempted to make conversation. Seriously peeps, we're meant to be the smart ones. I watched Maybelle wave at Jinx and then go back to chatting with the person next to her. Maybelle got on so easily with people. Me and Jinx had to work for it. Jinx just didn't fit in and well, me? I'm not exactly the 'making-friends' type.


I waited not so patiently for the doors to open and me to be led in. Jinx had told me so much about this place, and now I was finally here. I could barely contain my excitement.

I wandered over to MIst. "Hi, I'm Boy." I said. "What's your name?"

I watched my brother conversing with the first years. It was wierd seeing him here. It had always been just me. And then I had a terrible thought. What if Boy was placed in Slytherin with no one? He wouldn't cope. He would have me some of the time but not all of it. What if he was bullyed or something? Thousand of possibilities roamed through my head and I felt like I was going to be sick. I just prayed he'd have someone nice with him. A friend. Then it wouldn't be so bad. But Boy wasn't the best at making friends and...
