Personality:
Taishou is a more serious and quiet hyena. At times he can be quite mysterious with the things he says, though he doesn't try to. Sometimes he'll even say something and forgets about it a few seconds later if someone asks him about it again. He loves sitting in high places and feeling the wind in his fur. These places are where he goes to think and relax. He does not use the term love very often, for he has never fully understood the meaning of love, since everyone uses it differently. Some just use it when they like something or want something, others use it when they like someone strongly. He is just so unsure about the term, so he rarely ever uses it.
If he gets into a fight he prefers to sort out the problem by talking it over first, but if he is attacked, he will defend himself if needed. He likes to stick up for those who can not defend themselves as well as others, and hates unfair fights where it is clear who the winner will be. With fights like these he normally steps in to defend the weaker, unless of course the weaker was the one who provoked the stronger and picked the fight themselves, on purpose. Like bugging the stronger to get their attention or just for the fun of fighting because they think they can win. If it is an accident though, he will step in. He still hates physically fighting with teeth and claws no matter what though.
Reason For His Name:
The reason I chose the name Taishou for this beautiful boy was because when I heard the name, when I thought of victory, I thought of the precious metal, gold. I thought of his coloring instantly, the beautiful golden yellow mixed into his coat of sunset colors. So I fell in love with the name and knew I had to use it. This is the reason I used this name and why I thought it suite him very well.
Meeting A Friend (Taishou's POV):
I know many and many think of me as a good boy, someone willing to defend the helpless, but they are not my friends. A friend is someone who likes me, so for what I do, but for who I am. All those others like me for the things I have done, but there is one who likes me, just for who I am. She goes by the name of Yuzuriha and she is also a hyena of the ind element. Many would think she is not by her colors or looks, but it can be seen in her personality like she had been carved by the wind. This is my one true friend, who looks at me without seeing the things I have done, but who I am.
As I sat on the edge of a cliff, staring out over the landscape, enjoying the wind, I saw below a speck, running and jumping along the rocky ledges of the mountain side. At first I though it was a big cat of some sort, but realized it was one of my own, a hyena like me, one of the wind element. I stood up and watched her run, wondering who they were, then I sat down and shook my head, she would probably just be another one of those who only likes me for the things I have done to help others and break up fights. I looked up again and realized, she had stopped. I could not tell why and then she started running again, but she had changed courses, she was headed towards a slope that lead up the cliff to the ledge in which I sat. She has seen the bright colors of my coat and was curious as to who I was and why I was just sitting up here.
She stood next to me after having run up, she smiled. "My name is Yuzuriha. May I ask who you may be?" she asked me. I realized she had neither met nor seen me before. I smiled back at her, just a small one, but still a smile. "My name is Taishou." I replied to her question. She then sat next to me. Surprisingly, we sat and talked for hours. She is the only one I can ever seen to talk to very much. Around others I am quiet, but when it's just us, I can talk just about anything with her. She accepted me for who I was that day, for she never knew what I had done before.
Like I had said, Yuzuriha, is my first and only true friend. Others claim they are my friends because I have helped them in the past, but if you hear such tales, do not believe them fully, for they are not true. Yes I have helped them, that does not make us friends. The only one you should trust about such tales, if my true friend, Yuzuriha.
