Mana Geared Hyenas share the same anatomy as the ordinary hyenas, however they are born with
metal intertwined around their left forearm. The metal contains two gems embedded into it and
the Hyenas use it as a controller for their mana. Each hyena contains the magic of one of
the four basic elements, fire, water, air and earth. Their left paws contain the
ability to use these given powers, which can be very destructive. However, the Hyenas will
only use their powers when threatened. Any abuse of power is punished by blackening the gems in
their metal gear, rendering their powers useless with no chance of re-obtaining them.

Much grey. Yup, this is a basic design.

Melancholy is quite the character. It is a bit ironic that her name is 'Melancholy' while her personality is mostly upbeat and happy. Melancholy is usually found walking through flower-filled meadows and sitting in the shade under a tree. She likes to dig holes and trenches for no reason. On sunny days, Melancholy seems to be a bit more on the lazy side. On the other hand, when it's raining or if there's a thunderstorm, Melancholy is at her happiest. She loves to run around in the rain and it makes her feel brave when she's out during a thunderstorm.

Personality: As the name suggests, he is cool, calm, and controlled. He doesn't bother showing emotion to anyone he does not know or trust; he prefers emoting with his friends, or at least those he knows well. Being around people in general wears him out; living things make a lot of noise, in case you've never taken note of this and having a lot of noisy things around him all at once is rather overwhelming. He doesn't really care either way what goes on around him, provided it's not an earthquake or a heated argument or flying pigs or something else to upset the peace, of course. He's up for just about anything, and will try anything once. He's loyal practically to a fault. He is very logical and calculating, yet has his own values and morals that prevent him from "going over to the Dark Side." He's very quiet, both in voice and in demeanor. His stubborn streak is comparable to an actual donkey, however, and thus he can sometimes be somewhat of a huge jerk. Or seemingly so. I dunno. I'm still trying to learn where to draw the line on that one, myself. It seems to depend on the individual situation itself.
