Jaywing gave Flamefur a shove back. "StarClan knows where she came from!" He growled, and again Foxcloud flinched, her cheek bleeding. "The kittypet's lucky Frosteyes took her in, or she'd be a cold, dead little kit!"

Morningdove turnd away from Russetpelt and hurried over to Foxcloud, frowning, "That's uncalled for!" She retorted, gently helping Foxcloud to wipe away blood.

Flamefur pushed Jaywing away from her, "I said, leave her alone," he growled, "She may not be related by blood, but I'm sure she loves you, it's your measure of love, that she cares about most," he hissed

"Thank you." Foxcloud murmured. "He doesn't mean it."

"Shut up." Jaywing snarled. "This is between us, not you."

Kestrelstar sighed. He loved his Clan dearly and he wanted to lead it as best he could, but it always frustrated him when petty fights between his Clanmates broke out over small matters, matters that could be resolved in a much easier, simpler way. "I'm sorry 'bout that," he meowed apologetically. "Tanner, was it? Why've you crossed into our territory, Tanner?"

Batfang rolled over onto his paws with a purr. "Wow, impressive! I can see that your digging abilities are very useful, both for hunting and for fighting."

"Yo, yo, bro! Lay off!" Sully exclaimed, knocking back Jaywing's paw with his own. "We ain't doin' nothin' wrong. Wha's yer problem?" He bent down and gave Foxcloud a gentle lick on the cheek.
